Excellent service in general and in particular thanks to Carlos who was our host on the afternoon of July 2. The food is excellent and I recommend the “Mojito” (the best I’ve had in Florida so far). Love this place but the new owners seem to be really jacking up the prices. Makes it Miami prices to drink at night. Not good. Makes you need to drink before you get here. $15 for a Cuba Libre?!??! C'mon guys. Take care of your people and they will come back and bring everyone.The food prices are still decent. The drinks are getting insane.

Delighted to find this Cuban food in Abacoa. Everything was tasty and served with a smile. Nice fish plate and classic Cuban sandwich with black beans and plantains extra. A bit pricey at dinnertime but the 2 for 1 happy hour is a deal and I’ll definitely be going back for the lunch menu. Only complaint is the noise level, but I guess that’s part of the festive atmosphere. A fun evening out when we really needed it! View menu

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this place. The drinks are way overpriced, the service is terrible, and the food is mediocre. They also add the gratuity on automatically so the servers don’t really have to try to hard. Our server disappeared after we ordered and didn’t come back until the check. The food was cold and not very good. Black beans tasted burnt. Margarita was super overpriced, not good, and came in a small little glass. Will not be going there again.

My husband and I went May 5th to order take out. We stood at the bar for at least 10 minutes before someone asked us what we needed, we let her know we wanted takeout and she just walked away, never came back. No acknowledgment from the bartender, who had looked at us multiple times and never said a word to us or even to say give him a minute. Very poor customer service. Guess they didn’t want our money or liked the color of our skin, not sure. We walked out and went next door to Taco Shack, received service right away and had our food in 10-15minutes. We will never go back there.

I don’t normally write reviews but this time I had too. This place is completely overpriced. My husband and I went out for dinner with a group of 9 for a birthday party. Our server was wonderful and the musician was fantastic. My complaint is on top of the high priced menu they add 20% gratuity and an extra 3% if you use a credit card. So be prepared to pay 23% on top of your tab. My advice to you as a restaurant manager if you want to charge the prices you’re at charging make it worth it. I receive a tiny piece of churrasco with rice that was bland. The tostones relleno had no flavor. Ceviche wasn’t available. The margarita I ordered cost $20 and came in a small rocks glass.
