The meat was incredibly tender, with just the right balance of salt and spice. The presentation was impressive too; the stew was served in a sturdy, attractive bowl with a generous portion. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again soon! Since it’s the middle of the week, I didn't have to wait until the weekend like I do with many other Haitian restaurants. The pasta in the pumpkin soup was cooked to perfection—just the right amount of firmness; I can’t stand mushy pasta. My wife agreed; she thought it was delicious as well! I can’t wait to try more items from the menu."

The food was disappointing. The rice was of poor quality and became hard, while the chicken was overcooked and tough. If we're paying for a proper meal, we expect to be served better quality food. Thank you.

Dishonest. I wouldn't recommend ordering delivery from them. I ordered white rice and a spaghetti, but they apparently didn't have spaghetti and didn't bother to inform me or offer a substitute. Unacceptable. View menu

Danie's restaurant food cost more than other Haitian restaurant food in Irvington. So I went there on July 28. After I finish my meal, they gave me a bill and they had the nerve to include $5 tips in it without my consent. There was a guy who worked there took $5 tips from my $50 and he had the nerve to tell me that's how restaurant charge customers nowadays. Don't go there

I spent about 30 minutes calmly explaining to the owners that the mistake was on their part, but the owner refused to let me leave with my food unless I paid an extra $7. Frustrated, I ended up leaving the food on the counter and hurried out the door while they were calling for me to come back. It wasn't about the money for me, but rather the principle of the matter. The woman who had summoned the owner just stood by, watching and shrugging her shoulders the whole time. I will never go back there again.
