"Who in their right mind is charging South Asians $17 for a plate of mediocre biryani. Two biryanis and an appetizer will run you $50+, and yes the portion is still the same as a $5.99 dish somewhere else. Order ahead and they say it will be ready in 20 min. So you arrive in 40 min, they say wait, go in the kitchen for 5 minutes and come back out and say they forgot one of the biryanis, sorry bout it, please wait another 30 minutes.I don’t have 30 more minutes. Now one biryani and appetizer is still $35. They are nice people and the environment is nice but sorry, nice doesn’t cut it. That being said, I’m usually not a chicken 65 person but they do have a bangin chicken 65.The high prices keep their door open but with that location, same quality (could be better), and half the price of items, they could keep the door open with 4x the units being sold. Ya it’s more product to buy and half the margins but it’s also more than twice the current profit. Quick maths. Just saying"

I ordered the mutton biryani, but it tasted more like beef pulav. The woman taking my order over the phone was very rude. I usually love biryani, but this time it was very disappointing. I would rate the food 1 out of 5.

This restaurant serves the most authentic Hyderabadi Biryani! I absolutely loved it. My only suggestion is to work on the wait time for dine-in orders, as we had to wait over 45 minutes for our Chicken Tikka grill and Biryani. Overall, I give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.

I was on vacation from KY and wanted to try Hyderabadi dum biryani in Dallas area. Tried biryani in multiple places but Deccan Grill dum biryani was amazing with good taste and texture. Chicken 65 was also the best. I strongly recommend this place. This is going to be my Goto place for desi food from now on. View menu

the biryani here is amazing. Yeah, they get four stars, that's so good. the place is strange, then that. lady behind the counter tried to invite me more to eat!? very strange. they always play this awfully loud Muslim music. it's really mean. please don't play any confessional music in a restaurant. No one wants to hear that the man sings the same melodie over and over.

I have two karachi goats biriyani . the taste of the biriyani was decent, but the number of goats were very few (it seems that the load wants to save money, although they are the biriyani quite high price) and it was mostly bones with very little meat on it .disappointed . I hope that the load concentrates more on the quality than to make profit. would not recommend this. not worth it.

One of the standout dishes at Deccan Grill is their mutton biryani. It is simply exceptional! The rice is perfectly cooked, the spices are well-balanced, and the tender mutton just melts in your mouth. Each bite bursts with flavors that will keep you coming back for more. But what truly sets Deccan Grill apart is their fantastic staff, especially Moiz Bhai. He is incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure customers have a great dining experience. Moiz Bhai's warm hospitality makes you feel like you're dining with family. Food is absolutely good and up to par. However, the order arrives very late at your table. They are not sure how to prioritize orders. The cashiers(girl and a lady) simply said that they have many orders to go so dine in orders are late and we will have to wait for them to be finished. Ignored their foolish vulgar response because food was really good. This is the main section. The girl at the counter billed a 20% tip unbeknownst to us that we realized after 2 days of transaction displayed. When I called her to crosscheck she just answered that we charge that for dine in. If this is the case, then it is pointless for them to even keep dining open. Not at all recommend and girl at the counter...

Ordered to-go order for Panner tikka masala and found out small chicken pieces in the panner tikka masala. We are on lent and we shouldn't eat meat as part of our faith. This is Disgusting and unacceptable. If vegetarians are being given panner by adding them to chicken curry then what's the point. Never recommend this place. I am very disappointed at their service and even every refuse to accept their mistake. The chicken pieces were very small and all over the tikka masala. Such a disappointment after coming to this place for soo long and couldn't believe this is how they were being served to the vegetarian orders.Vegetarian options: Never trust the vegetarian option at this place. It's ma...
