Without a doubt, this is the best sandwich shop in San Francisco. I even drove all the way from Sacramento just to get a sandwich from here—that's how exceptional they are! I had the Mick B sandwich, and the fresh bread was still warm when I received it. It literally melts in your mouth! It tasted like a fantastic burger, but even better.

Please note that there is no dine-in option, so it's a good idea to review the online menu beforehand to avoid standing around looking at your phone. My partner was anticipating a relaxed dining experience where he could take his time with the menu, but instead, he felt rushed since we had to order online. This made me feel hurried as well, and I couldn't thoroughly explore the menu options. He was hoping for something extra cheesy, so he left feeling somewhat unsatisfied, while I was completely pleased with my choice.

Incredible sandwiches! While they are a bit pricey, that’s to be expected given the location and the top-notch quality of the meats and bread. Despite the line reaching outside, we were served in a reasonable amount of time, and our food arrived quickly. The waffle fries were crispy and delicious. The turkey was flavorful and truly tasted like roast turkey, complemented by soft, tasty bread. I really enjoyed the vinyl music playing in the background and the cozy, lo-fi decor. I noticed that the menu on the wall is just one of many that have been added over time. I’ll definitely return—maybe not every day, but one day for sure. Don’t forget to check out the nearby ginkgo fruit tree!

The high prices at this restaurant may be a result of the pandemic, but spending $21 on a sandwich felt quite excessive. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the roast beef with bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, all on a garlic French roll. While the sandwich had a nice crunch and the roast beef was tasty, I felt it needed some hot sauce on the side, as the flavor was a bit too salty for my liking. Overall, I didn’t think it was worth the $21 price tag. I mentioned to the waiter that it was my first visit and asked for a recommendation, but I was ultimately left underwhelmed.
