The food was just okay; I really wanted to love it, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The service was decent, but not outstanding. Unfortunately, the ambience and table setup left much to be desired. Given the prices they charge for their dishes, I expected more. Good presentation alone isn't enough. A better atmosphere, thoughtfully crafted spices, and improved cocktails would really elevate their experience.

As for the Pehla Nasha, which I assume is a drink, it adds a refreshing touch to your meal. While I don't have specific details about the ingredients, the name suggests it could be a nostalgic or signature cocktail. It might be sweet, fruity, or even an exotic blend, so be sure to ask your server for more information or recommendations on pairing it with your meal. Indian contemporary food sounds tempting! Ambience is great and gives the feel consistent with the theme of the restaurant. Coming to the main agenda, dishes are named uniquely and also presented well. However that is where the great things come to an end sadly. I wish I could rave about it, but not. Appetizers 1. My husband and I were pleased with the taste of the food items we ordered. The food had the right amount of spices with well balanced flavors. We took the paneer burji tarts, Verde cutlets, curd rice poppers for starters and the Desi sliders with samosa and pindi chole kulcha tacos from the quick bites section. My favorite was Sambusa Trio: Chicken, Lamb, Potato It is an infusion American_Indian Casual Restaurant. The food is great and drinks are great too. Their bar menu called GABRU Bar, they have very innovative and amazing coktails: MC Sheer which is whiskey with saffron and it was awesome. I gave it 3 stars because of the service. This was our second event at Desi, and we hosted our wedding after-party cocktail event for approximately 50 guests there. It was truly amazing! The fusion food and cocktails were outstanding, and all our guests rave about the verde cutlet and the desserts. The manager assisted us throughout the planning process, which was incredibly helpful. We even had to reschedule the event due to an emergency, but the owners and managers were very accommodating and understanding. We felt well taken care of.

I recently checked out some of the latest reviews and was a bit taken aback by them. Perhaps it’s all about timing. We chose to have a very late lunch on a Sunday afternoon and arrived around 3 PM. As expected, the restaurant was quite empty, and we were seated at a table for five. We ordered a selection of cocktails, beer, starters, and some large plates, including Sarson ka Saag and butter chicken. Everything was tasty, and the staff was friendly. Nardeep, the bartender, prepared some excellent cocktails as well.
