"I was so excited for dinner. My friend and I ordered the bbq pork mac and cheese. I took a few bites and noticed an odd taste. I was having a hard time figuring out what was wrong with it. I finally smelled it, and the smell was of soured milk. We smelled hers as well and the same thing. I brought it back to the waitress, and she made an awful face when she smelled it, too. She instructed me to bring it to the cook. He just looked at me and said ok. I will replace it. He acted like he knew it was bad. They did take the 2 dinners off the bill, with NO apologies. The bar manager came over when we were leaving. (With some prompting by another guest) She came over and was very confrontational. Instead of saying she was sorry we had a bad experience. she basically was blaming us for the horrible food. If it had been handled in a professional way, I would not have written this. So I will never step foot in that establishment again, nor will my friends. Sad, they do have great bands that play there. Poor management and ownership, since the cook was the owner."

"Last evening, I decided to try out the local buzz at Mexican Fiesta, a place known for its vibrant atmosphere and a promising menu. The experience was a roller coaster of sorts, with some ups and downs along the way.The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Steak Burrito. With chilli Relleno .The steak was cooked well, and the peppers added a nice kick that tantalized the taste buds. (I did ' not know why they add sour cream. . Accompanying the burrito was a Chili Relleno, which was a ok blend of flavors, though it didn’t quite hit the high note I was not expecting.Service at Mexican Fiesta was competent, if not memorable. The staff was polite and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met without being intrusive. However, the pacing of the meal felt a bit off, with longer waits than anticipated.The pricing, on the other hand, did give me pause. While I understand that quality ingredients come at a cost, the final bill seemed a tad steep for the overall experience provided.In conclusion, Carlos 'Mexican grill offers a decent dining experience with a few standout dishes. However, the value proposition might not align with everyone’s expectations. It’s a place I might visit again when feeling indulgent, but it’s not yet on my list of regular haunts"

"Dog n Suds, yes it is real and takes you back in time when car hops were common place. This is an old school drive in, where you place your order from your car on the menu board next to your car and the server brings your tray of food to you. The tray hooks to your window and when you are done you click a switch on the menu board and the server returns to pickup the tray. I ordered the foot long coney dog with cheese and my guest had a pizza burger. We both ordered large root beers and enjoyed the food and the experience. If you have never had a chance to experience a Dog n Suds, you are missing out. This location is closed during the winter months."

"Went here for lunch with my son and we loved it! They were busy for a Wednesday atound lunch, but we were still able to get in a get a table right away. From the moment we walked in the entire staff was super friendly and had a great up beat energy to them. The train theme they have throughout is great and something to see for sure. The food we had was excellent and good portions for the money. I personally ordered the apple bread gouda club sandwich and... it was delicious! A great balance of sweet, salty, and cheesy. ??I would definitely recommend eating here and will be going here again in the future. Thanks Whistle Stop, for the great food and service!"

"Food was great something for everyone. Great drinks and variety of food choices. Servis was awful! We were a party of 7 I really was expecting stronger service. We ordered our drinks then Donna left to fill and return with the drinks. We then ordered ourappetizers and she did not return until she brought our starters? Took about 15-20 minutes for the starters to come out. Thestarters finally made it to the table. We then request to drink refills and then placed our order at which point she did notreturn until the orders were full. Again, we requested drink refills and then requested a drink menu to get adult beverages.Just a very disappointing service experience. We arrived at about 4:15 on a Wednesday afternoon. If there were two other tablesin the restaurant that the other server was attending to, we were the only table in her section. Felt like we were very ignored."
