"I recently found myself with a strong craving for empanadas. A quick search led me to Dolce Pan Bakery at 2818 Governors Drive in Huntsville, Alabama. The owners are incredibly friendly and offer a varied menu of authentic Puerto Rican dishes, including six different types of delicious empanadas. During my visit, I sampled both the chicken and beef empanadas and enjoyed every bite. I will definitely return! The owners were enthusiastic about sharing their menu, the service was prompt, and the prices were very affordable. You can choose to enjoy your meal on-site or take it to go. They also have a beautiful selection of dessert pastries and pies that are hard to resist. Naturally, I couldn't pass up the chance to try one of the pastries to finish off my meal, and it was absolutely delightful. I highly recommend visiting Dolce Pan Bakery and supporting this wonderful place so they can continue to bring joy to our taste buds for years to come!"

Picked up they're lunch special today (stewed chicken and potatoes, beans and rice) and wish I'd eaten at the restaurant. Prolly would have gone back for seconds!

Best Cuban sandwich in town. Chorizo empanadas are the bomb. My coworkers and I get lunch here at least once a week because the food is amazing and the staff is A+.

This experience was truly transformative! I ordered the corned beef special, which came with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. I've never had corned beef like this before—it's on a whole different level. Everything was outstandingly tasty, but the plantains... wow! You have to dine here as soon as possible. The best puert rican restaurant away from home. From coffee, appetizers to great traditional food. Pasteles, Arroz con gandules and roasted pork. Cant forget dessert guava pastelillos, coconut flan, tembleque, etc. People go and try different food... weather you speak Spanish or not; they will be pleased to explain the menu for you.. Remember English is our second language.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was tasty but didn't really stand out compared to others I've had—though I don't mean that in a negative way. My friend got the special, which was stewed chicken served with plantains and rice and beans. It looked and smelled amazing! I'm definitely planning to go back. I just wish they had a few more Puerto Rican or Latin dishes on the menu. While it's mainly a bakery, the atmosphere feels more like a coffee shop.
