"I'm lowering my rating because I've encountered inconsistent pricing during my visits. I went three times in one week for the same meal, and each time, my bill was different. On my first visit, I was overcharged significantly, but the manager stepped in and clarified the correct prices to the staff. However, during my last visit, a different employee insisted that my first charge was wrong, leading to another overcharge. I don't have the energy to continually correct the staff on their pricing issues. I hope they can address this problem, but I won't be going back for a while."

Donuts were fine, coffee was lackluster but, the Coriline drink was great! Convenient, fast and very friendly!

Arrived here at around 11 AM. Numerous signs proclaim they’re open, Google claims they’re open, the coffee machines are on, yet the door is locked, the drive-through window is closed, and nobody answers the phone. Not impressed.

I was disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed when I arrived at 5:40 PM, even though their posted hours indicate they close at 6 PM. Their donuts look delicious in the pictures, so I was really looking forward to trying them! View menu

I’m truly impressed with the food at this restaurant, but what really sets it apart is the exceptional service. They consistently show great care and kindness towards my child when we place our orders. I would definitely give it a 5 out of 5!

Well made donuts and very friendly but old tasting oil. Doesn’t matter how good the donut if it’s made with old tasting oil it really wrecks the donut. Not sure what the issue is that’s causing the oil to taste old/rancid but they need to fix. Really wanted to like it because freeway close with drive through

I recently visited Donut Boss and had the best customer service experience I've ever had. The service was incredibly quick, and the staff—Trina, Megan, and Chloe—were fantastic and friendly, making me feel completely at ease. Their warmth truly gave me chills. I will definitely be returning and will happily go out of my way to visit again. It's clear why they're called Donut Boss; they really know how to make a big impression, and I'm so glad I stopped by! I had originally planned to order something different, but then I spotted the Salted Caramel White Mocha and couldn’t resist. It was incredible! I also arrived just before closing, yet the staff was exceptionally kind and didn’t make me feel like I was a hassle, even though one of them had just finished mopping the floors and had to come over to assist me. The drink was refreshing and captured all the cozy fall vibes. I’ll definitely be back to try more drinks!

This restaurant offers a fantastic experience that sets it apart from the usual chain coffee and pastry shops—yes, I mean you, Starbucks! It appears to be family-run by a young couple who genuinely make an effort to ensure everyone feels welcomed and comfortable. The food quality is exceptional, and the espresso drinks are inventive, fresh, and invigorating. It's also a very kid-friendly place, as you'll often find little ones here with their parents. While parking is limited to a few spaces, there is ample street parking available to the east.

"We visited the Los Alamitos location this trip for late lunch, early dinner. My husband got an All American Beach Melt. It was a full pound cheeseburger on grilled Parmesan Sour Dough. He was delightfully overwhelmed! I decided to try the prime rib dinner because the prime rib dip is out of this world! I was extremely disappointed! The meat was cold and flavorless. The aujus again had no flavor. The creamy horseradish could have been sour cream, and it has absolutely no flavor at all, no zing. Our waitress was sweet but disappointing. All of our food came to the table at the same time. Our appetizer actually arrived after our entree plates. Our waitress did a vanishing act. She did not once return to the table. Our water and tea cups sat empty throughout our meal. Other servers took care of the tables to our right, and to our left, we remained completely ignored. After finishing our meals, we sat for about 15 20 minutes with my husband, trying to get anyone to pay attention to even our empty glasses. Finally, it appeared to be someone in management who asked if we were waiting for boxes. My husband told her we 'd like a check AND boxes so we can leave. She brought our check and 3 boxes, no questions or comments. My husband paid in cash, and she said, I 'll see you next time. He commented. There won 't be a next time. We enjoy the Foothill Ranch location, a much friendlier environment. Today 's lesson learned is that it was not a good idea to order steak at a sandwich shop."

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"
