"I visited Drink for a private event and had an amazing experience! I especially loved the raw bar and the custom cocktails/mocktails.It seems like the raw bar is only for private events, but I'll still leave my thoughts here in case it's helpful for anyone. The oysters are delicious, as are the oysters with caviar (but oysters are already so briny, so do you really need caviar? . They come with the usual mignonette and cocktail sauces. The shrimp cocktail had such plump and juicy shrimp, 10/10. Definitely the highlight of the visit. We tried 5 different cocktails, 4 of which were crafted after we described what we were looking for (sweet, fruity, sparkly; green and sweet; berry and sweet . They were mostly quite good, and showed me that red/orange cocktails usually taste better than green ones. The cocktail highlight of the night was the enzoni, but with Aperol instead of Campari and strawberries instead of grapes. That was a killer drink that everyone loved. So sweet and delicious, like strawberry lemonade. We also had a tiki drink mocktail which had coconut cream, passionfruit, grapefruit, among other things. Definitely the best mocktail we've ever had. Would definitely want to get this again. The bartenders were amazing lots of fun, attentive, and knowledgable. Quick rundown of the hot foods we triedGood stuff: Fries were thick, hot, and delicious Churros were addictively good, though not the typical texture (quite soft inside and they were falling apart Smoked salmon tea sandwiches were quite good with soft breadOk stuff: Shishitos could have had more seasoning Mixed fried seafood could have used more salt Pretzel bites were a bit dry and not as soft as I would like. Cheese sauce is nice and salty.Meh stuff: Chicken wings had a sauce that was too acidic Black truffle fritter was unremarkableOf course, I don't know how much the cocktails cost since it was a private event, but we had such a fun time here so if I ever wanted to go to a cocktail bar, I would come here again!"

Terrible service to be short staff is not an excuse if you are enslaved while others are not. A drink in 3 hours was good, but you don't get another one. Not worth it.

I highly recommend visiting this place on a Sunday morning. We experienced no wait time and were served promptly. The Oaxacan Old Fashioned I ordered was fantastic and matched the bar's atmosphere perfectly. It's a great spot for a pre-dinner drink in Fort Point!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Drink. Our party of three waited about 15-20 minutes on a Saturday night around 7. Completely worth it. Roberto took care of us and was amazing. He was so friendly and really helped make our experience. We loved each drink, and they really did seem tailored to whatever we asked for. The fries were also killer. Highly recommend!

This has to be one of the coolest places to be in Boston for cocktails! They have no menu and you just name your poison and tell them what you feel like drinking. Smoky, spicy, fruity, floral whatever floats your boat. We had a wonderful time with our friends here and honestly we would not have left if it weren 't for our dinner reservation at another place. The bartenders here are busy so they may seem rude but ours was really fun to talk to. We kept insisting on dramatic drinks and glasses and we were not left disappointed. Will definitely be back! We visited early on a Friday evening and encountered a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. We only waited about 20 to 30 minutes before we were let in. Once inside, I requested a sweet and spicy gin cocktail and received a drink that perfectly balanced both flavors, with an intriguing hint of smokiness. My friend asked for a sweet and fruity cocktail, and we both loved our drinks! We noticed that many groups ordered the churros or fries, so we decided to go with the fries. The portion was quite generous for the price, and while the fries were good, they were a tad thicker than I prefer. Overall, the service was friendly, and I would definitely recommend this place!

The extended waiting to insure you is worth it. Once you sit down, which could be up to half an hour or more, they will ask you some questions about what kind of cocktail you like. They will make something interesting and often unexpected. Your skill is obvious after swallowing. I could without some of the pretentious with some of the questions like "Do you like something that's whisky forward? ' You mean I like whisky? What is whiskey backwards, you hate whiskey? I'd come here more often, but I don't want to deal with the waiting. I wish they would make online reservations and make life easier for everyone. I know cocktail bars in Vermont that make reservations so can't see why Drink couldn...

I was so excited to bring my wife to my favorite bar in Boston, Drink, for her birthday. We came to the place and waited about an hour in the line, but I assured her it would be worth it. We made it 30 minutes later, someone came with water and asked us for our drinks preferences. He made us a drink and then left. We were there for 3 more hours and no one even saw in our direction, let alone us if we want another drink or even want to close our tab. However, they were extremely friendly with the groups around us joking to the left and right of us, refilling their waters, others were even on their 3rd or 4th round. It felt honest as if they were avoiding us all night. No one has ever confirme... View menu

Been to Drink more than a handful of times over the last few years, and each visit has been great. Went with a party of eight this time, and I ordered an espresso martini and requested an elderflower gin concoction, plus fries TASTE: 4/5 tonight's cocktails were lovely. My espresso martini was creamy and strong on the coffee, while the gin drink was just the right amount of sweet. The fries were a little disappointing: needed salt, and the malt vinegar aioli didn't have any hint of malt vinegar or even mayo PRICE: 4/5 drinks were $15 flat, which is reasonable given the tailor made concept of Drink!SERVING SIZE: 4/5 although the drinks vary, the portions are fairly consistent SERVICE: 4/5 was...

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
