"We've ordered takeout at Iya several times over the past couple years. The food varies from meh to good nothing really super. Some of the maki rolls (bumble crunch, sweet potato) are very good. Last weekend we ordered take out some maki rolls, noodles, dumplings, and it seems like they had the B team working that night. The rolls were sloppy, and the protein to rice ratio in the rolls was very small. I'm writing this review because they underestimated the wait time by 50 minutes, during which we were standing in the tiny lobby. If they had not asked us to pay when we walked in, we would have walked out after half and hour beyond the 50 minutes we were originally told. My advice: don't try take out on a weekend night unless you have plenty of time to spare."

"Randomly popped in here starving after a long day of traveling and had one of the juiciest decadent burgers I’ve had in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t want to eat this burger everyday…which means it’s a burger done right. They even had a gluten free bread option which was surprisingly perfect with the burger. Just dense enough to soak up the juice and not fall apart. I got the spicy jalapeño burger. So good. They usually fry them but I asked for them regular because of my gluten allergy. It was delicious. The server and the owner were also super nice people. Check this place if you want a simple local experience, nice people, and a great burger."

"As for the sushi, the pieces were a good size, fresh, and had a generous amount of wasabi, which I love. The service was outstanding on both occasions we visited. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which really stood out to me. I don't often emphasize service in my reviews, but I can't stress this enough! Whether they were genuinely happy or just excellent at their jobs, the servers created a warm atmosphere. I hope the management treats them well because they truly deserve it! I have only two recommendations for improvement: 1. They need Wi-Fi! This is a pet peeve of mine, and I would really appreciate having some basic Wi-Fi for customers, especially since cell service was poor—T-Mobile and Verizon were barely getting one bar. 2. It would be great to see a bao option on the menu. While I loved the tacos, I’m a fan of steamed pork belly buns before a bowl of ramen—maybe I'm just influenced by Momofuku, but they’re hard to resist! Overall, I give this place a perfect 10/10 and can’t wait to return. As for accessibility, the entrance and interior both have a solid wheelchair-accessible ramp."

"I lived in western Massachusetts for many years as a grad student and though it's been many year s since then, I only recently discovered Barstow's one sunny afternoon where I made a pit stop to grab lunch during a summer weekend motorcycle ride. It's a bonafide farm with happy cows lazily grazing ... and though they have a small selection of flavors of their home made ice cream, it's the best that I have tasted in this state ... well, I'm no ice cream expert, or, food critic ... so, will just leave it at that... except that, whenever I visit the Hadley/Amherst/NoHo area, I make it a point to stop there for some ice cream !!"

"Unable to review interior due to covid restrictions but my experience with the food was 5 star. We've found it difficult to find good Chinese food in this area, Ludlow, Granby, South Hadley, Chicopee. However this restaurant is an exception. We reviewed the lunch menu on line. Called the ph number and ordered. Generl Tso's chicken with white rice. Pork Lo Mein. Hot Sour soup. We were told twenty minutes. We arrived at the front door in twenty minutes, called again and the food was handed out by a gloved and masked person. Paid by credit card. Smooth and easy transaction.Took the food home and was pleasantly surprised. The quality and taste were very good. Fresh. The chicken was just right. Rice not sticky and clumped. Broccoli steamed and al dente. Pork Lo Mein had actual chunks of pork, not tiny diced pieces. Soup was excellent. We will return."
