"Since traffic was alarming, we couldn 't make our usual spot for lunch. So, instead we tried Citrus Restaurant. As we saw that they reinstated a lunch buffet on Sundays- we asked: why not? However, as we entered, there was no acknowledgement. The staffwere highly unattentive. During lunch, we noticed that the wait staff did not visit tables to check on water. Yet, after we madea point that drinks needed to be refilled, then they would check on other guests. Overall, they weren 't as welcoming as theycould be. As for the food, the flavors were off. The chili chicken tasted like general tso 's. There were also texturalelements that were off beat. The lamb was chewy and the gulab jamun was stodgy. Overall, the curries had a single note offlavor- all about a 7 on heat but no definition. Ultimately, after the poor service, I wouldn 't return. Additionally, the foodwas not as up to par with my favorite restaurant. Sorry, but my expectations for flavor have been raised high."

"Service was great. Food came out so quick. THE BEST TACO SPOT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! The flavors are amazing. I thought oh just another taco place that adds onion and cilantro to their corn tacos blah blah and I’m not even a fan of corn tortillas.well I was completely wrong and mistaken. The flavors just mmmm hit the spot. Fresh and exquisite. 11/10 for it all. The kids menu was so absolutely perfect for my child who’s kind of picky as well. We got general tsos, citrus shrimp, Korean bbq short ribs, gringo, filet mignon. Cant wait to try more and go back for those. The guac was great as well. The empanada was phenomenal. Not a bad thing I can say about the food or place. Atmosphere and music were also great."

"I can't believe I hadn't discovered this restaurant until this trip, but I'm so glad I did! I wasn’t aware of their happy hour from 4 to 6 on certain days, so it was a delightful surprise when we arrived just in time to take advantage of the deal. We kicked off our meal with the fried calamari, which was perfectly seasoned, and the calamari itself was wonderfully tender—no chewing required! For our main courses, we ordered The Leatherman, a big bowl of pasta with sausage, and the seared salmon. Each dish was expertly crafted, featuring interesting yet harmonious flavors. The salmon came with a white wine lemon sauce with visible garlic, and it had a delightful brininess reminiscent of the sea. It was simply amazing! The restaurant has a cozy, picturesque interior. I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a chance to experience this charming place."

"Holy Souvlaki, Greeman! As a fan of Greek cuisine and seafood, I have to say that while they might not fully grasp the meaning of 'Souvlaki' (which is 'on a stick'), they certainly know how to make a delicious version. Be sure to ask for fries on your gyro; they typically just assume it comes with chicken, but you'll enjoy a fantastic Greek-style Souvlaki with that addition. There's no reason to be disappointed—this charming little place in Newburgh is well worth your time and money. If you're a fan of spanakopita, they have that as well! A fun bonus: one of the owners is a vinyl enthusiast with an impressive record collection and often DJs, providing a great selection of old-school hits. Two thumbs up! I frequently return to this spot for a tasty meal at a reasonable price."

"Me and a couple of good friends were hungry and in the area so we decided to drop by Liberty Street Bistro in newburgh. We walk in and the place looks very nice, we felt bad because the place was closing soon and they only had one waitress working the bar and doing food. She was very nice and helpful even tho she was doing so much. We all ordered the steak and each of us said the same thing, WOW. It was very nice, melted in your mouth with each bite, the potatoes were awesome very tasty wish the steak portion was bigger or not cut up already but very good."
