Food at the store is good if you can get there when they’re open. Super weird hours, tried ordering pizza at 8:30 on a Saturday and their kitchen was closed. Food is expensive but delicious. Update: If we’re going based on the store itself I gave them an extra star. AMAZING craft beer selection.

I wanted to support a local business, but when I walked in, I felt as though I was doing something wrong. The staff was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. I haven't tried the food, so I can't comment on that, but I believe that customers should be treated with respect upon entering a business. While I don't expect a red carpet treatment, a simple friendly greeting would go a long way. I don't enjoy giving low ratings, but I have to be honest about my experience.

They threw raw steak tips on my sandwich and they didn’t even marinate them first. There was blood over the wrap paper and the bread The meat was **** and deep dark red and the sandwich was cold. I tried reheating it to get it up to temp but it smelled and tasted so bad afterwards so I had to toss the whole sub into the trash. Terrible experience! We decided to try this restaurant for the first time and ordered a variety of items, including pizzas, subs, chicken, onion rings, and fries. Unfortunately, the cheese on the pizza wasn't mozzarella and had a horrible smell. Both the pizza crust and sauce were flavorless. The sub had hardly any meat in it, and the chicken was overcooked and quite dark. The onion rings tasted burnt, and the fries were served cold. We're really disappointed, East Derry Pizza. We won't be returning. Just truly terrible.

Food is great but you should watch out for delivery. They use DoorDash and they often forget parts of your order. I 've ignored it in the past, a soda here or a biscuit there. This time half my order was missing and DoorDash refused to do anything about it. I will no longer purchase delivery from anyone using DoorDash again! I 'd suggest the same for anyone thinking about doing so. We pay extra money to get them to deliver but they do not guarantee order completeness. I ordered a pizza for pickup and arrived 20 minutes later, only to find the employee holding my order ticket and informing me that the kitchen had already closed. I was confused since the tavern was still busy, and the general store wouldn't close for another 30 minutes. I asked for a refund since I had already paid and tipped. While he was figuring out how to process my refund, more online orders were coming in. Eventually, he offered to make my pizza after all. It’s really unclear why the recent reviews are so horrid. Really people? Firstly the food is rock solid. Sure there’s some stuff on the menu that’s a stretch for some folks but you’ll get that anywhere. The pizza and subs are reliable, the chicken never fails, and the wings always hit the mark. Secondly it caters to the specific desires of every craft beer nut out there. While not my speed personally I have witnessed enough pretentious debates over which four pack from a LOCAL business should be chosen—and those folks come from far off. I know one person that makes the hour drive just for the beer. Most of all the owner is extremely busy but always does his best to do right by the customer....

So I gotta be honest. I'm seeing a lot of review bombs being thrown at this place. I'm not exactly sure why? I went in for the Krispy Krunchy chicken, which if you've never had is amazing! They even offer to make it fresh if you don't feel like eating the hot and ready version. The ready to go was still steaming so I had no qualms grabbing some. As a local: I stopped ordering 6 months ago because their food has seriously declined over the last two years. Cesar wrap I ordered had wilted iceberg lettuces and tomatoes.The Krispy Crunchy Chicken is the same frozen reheated brand that they have at a gas station in Windham (except the gas station store is fresher) I deliver for Doordash.
