"Our server was Wendy and it was her second day, she did a great job and our orders were perfect. The manager even made rounds to confirm everything and to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We love stopping and eating here when we get the chance the food is AWESOME and service is always fast. I had the Steak Chicken Happy Plate, my sister had just the Chicken Happy Plate, Dad had the Mexican City Combo it looked so great that I will be trying that next time! Lastly Mom had the Smothered Chicken without mushroom sauce. Also the Large Guacamole is so fine! We had that as the appetizer and it was plenty for all 4 of us! Great service, portions and food! Come check this place out."

We were visiting for the weekend from New Orleans and this is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. The shrimp fajitas were delicious. The waiter was great. The only complaint is they overcharged for the Margarita because I asked them to add amaretto and they charged me for two drinks instead of one.

The food was okay, with the exception of the queso and beef, which was very good, the tacos were very pedestrian and the cheese and onion enchiladas lacked flavor and we finished our meal with limp churros, service was good but music volume made it hard to talk. All in all a very ordinary Mexican restaurant.

When they bring you your chips ask for queso. It has to be some of the best that I have ever tried. There are three other Latin restaurants in the area but this one by far is like the name says the best!Kid-friendliness: Many children were there having a good time.Parking: Even though there was a big crowd there was ample room for parking. I was in an F-150 pulling a trailer and had no problem parking. View menu

Great food, great atmosphere. Nice local bands play Thurs, Fri and Sat. Lots of seating even outdoor seating. Friendly waitress, with great service other than one time. We got seated oneSunday, was brought our drinks and chips and that was it. Sat there for at least 30 minutes. We understood that they had a staff shortage, you could tell something was wrong. Every other time I was there, it was great, couldn't ask for better.

The food was good. The service was pathetic. We has to wait an unreasonable amount of time to be seated. Once the food came there was not any return to the table to refresh our drinks or to see how thing were. On at least two (2) occasions I had to go find the our waiter.....who was sitting at a table around the corner.....head down.....playing video games. It was the worse I have seen in a very long time. That waiter should be let go from his job immediately. Saint Francisville.....El Mejor deserves better than this.

"This charming little restaurant immediately draws you in with its beauty. On the left side of the café, you’ll find a row of small cabins that remind me so much of the movie "Big Fish"—you know, where the main characters stumble upon a hidden village in the woods? Those cabins, adorned with white Christmas lights, create a similar magical atmosphere! I learned that they rent these cabins for vacations, so I plan to check them out one day and will let you know how it goes! From the outside, the café appears small, but you’re warmly welcomed by a friendly pig mascot at the entrance. Inside, the place is surprisingly spacious! It was quite busy when we visited, so we opted to sit outside in the dining area. It was open and filled with families enjoying their meals. There’s also a stage area for live music, with flyers posted everywhere about upcoming events and performances. We had a bit of a challenge with our table because we were a large group, and some of the kids had difficulty reaching it. The food is on the pricier side, but overall, it was decent. Our server was clearly busy but kept the drinks flowing and was friendly. Two other servers, Mary and Jenny, were incredibly nice and enjoyed chatting with us and the kids. I can’t recall exactly what I ordered, but the overall family consensus was that the food was good, albeit a bit expensive. The atmosphere here is fantastic, with a bar area inside and several clean restrooms. Despite the crowd, the food came out in a reasonable time. All in all, I highly recommend checking it out! And be sure to take a stroll next door to soak in that "Big Fish" vibe!"
