"10/10. When we were planning for this trip we specifically planned our itinerary around Emily BK after seeing multiple YouTube videos selecting Emily as the best burger in New York. Boy did it not disappoint. Everything we've had was exemplary. The spinach and fig salad was excellent and the yuzu vinaigrette was so appetising. However, the star of the show was without a doubt the signature Emmy burger. I could only describe it as a unity, or a finished product nothing was out of place in this burger and it needed nothing, regardless whether it's ingredients or seasoning. The secret Emmy sauce was playing hide and seek with your taste buds, carefully to not overpowering the taste of the dry aged beef patty. And don't get me started on the pretzel bun, which absolutely stole the show. I simply could not comprehend how a burger bun was crispy on the edges but so tender in the middle, and it gave the burger a much needed textural layer since it lacked a crispy element. The complementary fries was huge in portions and fried to perfection. Was it expensive? Yes. Will I have dreams about this burger? Also yes. It's very comforting knowing you've had the best burger that you possibly could ever have and put this food category to rest. It straight up murdered the competition for years to come."

Got the emmy burger with bacon $35) and karaage $18). Great food. Would give both a 8.5 or 9 out of 10. Karaage was tender and tasty. Burger was juicy and flavorful. Not sure if the price is worth it but I definitely recommend to give it a try.

This is the tastiest burger I've ever had in New York. It's impressively large with rich layers inside, including crispy bits that add a delightful texture. The beef patty is tender, and what makes it special is that you can't customize the ingredients. Perhaps it's the secret to maintaining its unique taste consistently.

TL;DR: Pizza is important, and Emily takes it to a new level. There are about a million places to grab pizza in NYC, and Emily is a place you have to check out. The red and white pizza lists are both fantastic from start to finish. Not a big pizza fan but going to dinner with a bunch of pizza lovers? The Emmy burger is, in my humble opinion, a perfect burger.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
