"We had a lot of fun on a Wednesday night in July 2012. The music starts at 8 and I think there was a $6 cover charge, maybe starting at 9 but we got in before that and stayed until about midnight. They had drink specials every night and Wed night was a $2 beer in a tall glass. It may have been Miller Lite (not sure as I did not have any). It was NON smoking, which made it so so very nice. There are tables/seats outside so people went outside with their drinks and smoked and it didn't seem to be too much of a hustle for them. It's a typical piano bar YOU as a customer make it as much or as little fun as you want. The performers seemed to have a good understanding of crowds and tailored songs, comments, etc. to fit the audience. On a night we went, they kept it pretty clean but still a lot of fun. The two male players were really good. The girl player was just okay but she added a variety to the male duo. Waitress was attentative and came back to our table just at the right timing (not too often). It did take a while for her to bring a drink. There is a full bar so you can also get up and get your drinks, too. The main player managed the amp and kept the volume at a pleasantly loud level. It seemed like there were no kids allowed (in Texas, many bars let parents bring kids, even little kids). By 10:30 or 11, all the seats on the main floor were full (and again, it was a Wed night). They also had seats upstairs with a balcony overlooking downstairs (this part did not fill up when we were there). The food menu is limited but it's a bar. It had about a dozen items, such as chips and salsa, burger, and a fried shrimp plate. We had a burger nothing fancy but was not bad. My husband and I were there for about 3.5 hours, had a burger, one margarita (tasted watered down), one bottled beer and several nightly special beer, and our total tab was $28! We are in Branson for a few more nights so we may check it out again on a Sat night! We've been to better ones before but again, if you don't have fun at a piano bar, it's your own fault! Go there, join the crowd, and have fun!"

$5 cover charge was not a big deal until we walked in and listened to some woman reciting on stage not sure what she was actually ranting about. Piano players were so so. Drinks weak.

So much fun. We visited for Valentine's Day and this was the most fun we have ever had. The guys that play the pianos ass just amazing. We tried to stump them with songs we requested and we couldn't. We will be back to Branson but even sooner now because of this place!!!

Got here very late, only 5 or 6 people were there. The two pianists were decent but not dueling by any stretch. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They cut off a drunk which I thought was responsible. I'd definitely like to go back when it was more crowded with better duelers.

The musicians are wonderful. Very skilled. The older guy especially. The drinks were awful. Very weak. Should have been drunk, but barely got a buzz. The bartender did not know how to make a Long Island. It was hard to find. It didn't say that it was in the mall so I drove around it 2x. View menu

First and last time to visit, we are from KC and we must have been there on a off night, for everyone! The drinks were expensive, the bartender was not in the mood and we split after a drink. If they have a night that is on, the bartender was not clear on when it was. Sad to see in a town of entertainment that this place is allowed to operate.

Being from out of town and not familiar with the area, we asked strangers a good place to have a few drinks. We showed up and we were greeted as soon as we sat down. Our bartender was friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was great. The music was the best part. Drinks were good and at an affordable price which is a plus! Over all we had a great time.

At first, I was a bit concerned when an older man in a denim jacket and cap pushed one of the piano players aside and took over mid-performance. I thought he was just a random patron, but as the night went on, I realized he was either the owner or someone familiar with the entertainers. All three performers were fantastic and accommodated requests really well. The female singer had an amazing voice; I loved how she would sometimes just start playing whatever she felt like. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and even the bartenders contributed to the fun atmosphere by dancing and singing along. Despite it being a slower night with only a few tables occupied, we really enjoyed ourselves! View menu

We had the best time ever! We had a fantastic evening at Ernie Biggs in Branson, MO, on Saturday, March 18, with a group of nine. The staff did an excellent job of keeping our drinks coming, and the food we ordered was delicious. The cocktails were expertly mixed. The entertainers were incredible and engaged the audience with their music, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone. We've also visited the location in Wichita, KS, but this one is definitely superior. The entertainers enhanced the night, even featuring a special performance by a guest singer. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to all adults visiting Branson or anyone looking for a fun night out to relax and have a goo...

I don't recall their names, but one of the older musicians, who had a laid-back hippie vibe, was an exceptional talent with a fantastic voice. While he might not have had a vibrant personality, I could listen to him play for hours. Another older player was also a skilled musician with a decent voice. He had a snarky sense of humor and kept the audience entertained with one-liners. The younger performer was good, and his enthusiasm made up for his less-than-stellar singing voice. Most of the show consisted of audience requests, and a drummer joined in for a couple of songs that seemed to be rehearsed. Tips accompany song requests, and as expected, the larger the tip, the quicker they rush to...

"Really enjoyed this place, hope to go back while I'm here on holiday. I loved the hand pulled noodles, they had great bite/chew. I got the stir fry but want to go back to try the noodle bowl with a tea egg. When we asked for hot sauce the chef even came out directly and offered 2 different options. The woman who took our order was so simultaneously efficient and considerate it was incredibly impressive I ordered a passionfruit refresher from their large juice and boba drink menu and she double checked that I was okay ordering an energy drink at night. They really care about their customers! We were the only party at the time, (not remotely surprising since it was on the later end of a Monday night), and usually when there are no other customers in a restaurant I feel awkward, but Carly's has such a relaxed and friendly vibe and the family running it is so nice that we didn't feel awkward at all. Everybody we interacted with was welcoming and seemed passionate about the restaurant and food, which is rare and wonderful and sort of the whole point of eating out at a restaurant, isn't it? If I just want quick food I don't have to make myself I can go through a fast food drive thru or buy a frozen dinner or pre made meal in the grocery store. But when I take the time to find a restaurant I hope it will be an experience and that I'll get to enjoy a real meal, something somebody created with purpose and love for the ingredients. Carly's provided that, AND they are a locally owned family run small business which is like being a restaurant unicorn or something.Vegetarian options: Tofu or shiitake mushroomsParking: In front of the restaurantKid friendliness: The menu has a kid section and I think we saw the owners' kiddos there so I would say that makes Carly's likely to be VERY kid friendly"
