"I visited this restaurant for the first time today, March 9, 2022, around noon. I was a bit taken aback to see the girl making sandwiches wearing sweatpants and pajamas. However, what truly unsettled me was when she picked up her phone while still wearing the gloves she'd used to handle food. She was swiping and texting on her dirty phone screen before putting it down and then went right back to grabbing a handful of bacon for my sandwich with those same gloves. I felt quite nauseated by this. At that point, I decided to cancel my order and ask for a refund. I reported what I had seen to the cashier, but he seemed barely aware of my concern. Additionally, the overall demeanor of the staff was troubling; they moved sluggishly, almost as if they were sedated. It took about two minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence or make eye contact when I walked in. Overall, the experience was quite terrible and unsanitary."

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and with its staff, and I will definitely not be coming back. I highly recommend that potential customers take this warning to heart and steer clear of this establishment. It's advisable to leave quickly rather than linger here.

While the young staff members were friendly, there is room for improvement in their professionalism. It may be beneficial to remind them to be mindful of what they touch after putting on gloves, including their own bodies, such as their arms and waist. Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness is crucial in the food industry.

I really enjoy these subs. The meat and cheese are toasted, while the bread is flavorful and soft. Customizing from the menu can be a bit of a hassle, but the vegetables are fresh and tasty. However, the new employee forgot to add the olives. Since you can't watch them put it together, I had to make a return trip for my wife's order.

The subs are tasty, but the staff on a Sunday night seemed to have completely overlooked customer service. With six customers waiting, there should have been a sense of urgency to fill the orders, but that was sadly not the case. I get that working with a difficult team can be tough, but I was left waiting while two employees argued over what toppings should be on a BLT. View menu

I asked for a refund right away, and the sandwich maker rolled her eyes and let out a loud sigh when I did. Meanwhile, the cashier was preoccupied with preparing drinks while customers waited for help. I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant and its staff. I promise I won’t return and strongly recommend that others avoid this terrible place. Save yourself the hassle and get away as quickly as possible.

The subs are incredible, but the staff on Sunday evening appeared to be more interested in other tasks than in providing customer service. With six customers waiting, there should have been a stronger sense of urgency to handle the orders, but that was definitely not the case. I understand that staffing challenges can arise, but I ultimately chose to leave after overhearing two employees debating what should be included in a BLT sub.

I had a disappointing experience today, and after checking other reviews, I found that many others have expressed similar complaints over the past few months to a year. What frustrates me is that the owner or the person responding always resorts to the same excuse: "we have staffing issues." This reasoning has been repeated in reviews from as far back as two years ago. It seems that neither the employees nor the owner are taking these concerns seriously. If they were, these problems would have been resolved long ago when they first recognized the staffing issues. It's really disheartening. View menu

Late-night visit. When I arrived, there were three young employees on duty. They all rushed back into the kitchen as soon as I walked in. I assumed they would bring out the right staff to take my order. Two of them returned to assist me, but one of the guys appeared to be in training and needed help several times. The girl seemed to be the most knowledgeable of the group. Fortunately, they informed me that there were no onions available for my order. While the young workers were friendly, their lack of professionalism was quite noticeable. They also need to be reminded about hygiene practices—once they put on their gloves, they must be very careful about what they touch afterward, including...

I visited the restaurant for the first time today, March 9, 2022, around noon. Right away, I noticed that the girl preparing sandwiches was wearing sweatpants and pajamas. To make matters worse, she picked up her phone while still wearing her protective gloves, swiped and texted on the dirty screen, and then proceeded to grab a handful of bacon for my sandwich with those same gloves. It made me a little nauseous. At that moment, I decided to cancel my order and request a refund. I shared my observations with the cashier, but I don't think he fully understood the issue. The overall cleanliness was concerning. Additionally, the entire staff seemed unmotivated and sluggish, as if they were unde...

"Gluten friendly menu options. But, please be weary ensure your server the BOH understands your dietary needs what precisely you cannot have. There is often a language barrier in Asian restaurants to be honest, not all Asian cultures respect acknowledge that there are REAL dietary concerns e.g. celiac disease) out there. A lot of the language barriers prevent the proper exchange understanding of what gluten is. Note: the eel sauce, miso soup, onion soup teriyaki sauce are NOT celiac friendly. Depending on your server how well he/she can communicate, you can ask for certain items WITHOUT “crunchy” aka panko to make it gluten free. For example, the kani squid salad). Miso onion soup are NOT GF. $41.83 $29 plus lemonade 20% tip that’s for one person) not bad for this all you can eat joint. I do like that TS offers this grilled squid, salt pepper shrimp green mussels option as a part of the AYCE. The quality of the sashimi isn’t quite as “there” as my experience with Kyoto, but the selections are still good. I haven’t been to Kyoto in a hot minute so I’m not sure if their price bumped up $5 too; if you’re gonna do AYCE, better bring your stretchy pants. I didn’t even get through the first round of orders. I really liked the salmon teriyaki, moist, flavorful cooked to perfection. The onion soup was very salty. The shrimp tempura with the yum yum sauce was perfect Normally I like to include my server’s name in my reviews, but I didn’t catch hers. My server was as prompt as she could be with all the tables she had, cliché, but like most Asian servers, her personality lacked. I said thank you with every food delivery she made every refill of my lemonade she made she never winced once. Sure, she had a mask on, but facial expressions aren’t the only way to express personality. If you’d like great service, visit Phil at the Kyoto in Eagan. Best service I have ever had. He gets to know you your order even addresses me by name cause I was such a regular when I lived there)."
