"The second issue I encountered was with my order. I had requested a chicken plate to share with my sister at home, but when we sat down to eat, we found the chicken to be exceedingly spicy. I can manage a little heat, but I certainly wasn't expecting it to be that overwhelming. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly, and I appreciated their efforts in preparing the meal. However, I do wish they paid a bit more attention to detail. My recommendation would be to check your food and drinks before leaving the restaurant."

Despite the new ownership, this flame boiler continues to be the stingiest when it comes to the amount of meat in their bowls.

I give them 3 stars for the simple fact that I have to ask to have my meat and chicken well cooked every time I visit. The first time I asked to have the meat well cooked, the younger cook made an arrogant comment! If it was not for Arlene and Karen's customer service I would never go here. They deserve a raise.

I really enjoy this spot for a quick and affordable meal! It's ideal for a fast lunch. My food is usually ready in around five minutes, often even sooner. The chicken is consistently hot and tasty. I typically order a regular bowl with rice and vegetables, topped with extra hot sauce and a flavorful sauce. For just $8, I walk away feeling satisfied and healthy! View menu

Simple, hot, and affordable meals! I really enjoy this place for a quick lunch while working. My food is usually ready in under five minutes, often even faster. The chicken is always served hot. I usually order the regular bowl with rice and vegetables, and then I add a generous amount of hot sauce and their delicious sauce. For just $8, I leave feeling full and healthy after my meal.

The portion sizes for the price of the food are outrageous. It felt like I was getting a kid's meal while paying for a large one. It's no surprise the place was empty. The fish tacos from the nearby restaurant look far more appealing than what I found here. They really need to reconsider their pricing. The food quality is on par with other restaurants, but the prices definitely don’t reflect the quantity being offered.

The portion sizes at this restaurant do not justify the prices they charge. It felt like I received a kids' meal for the cost of a large meal. I understand why the place was quiet. The fish tacos from the place next door looked far more tempting than what I experienced here. They definitely need to rethink their pricing. While the quality of the food is on par with other restaurants, the prices simply do not align with the portion sizes they offer. View menu

This is a fantastic spot for a lunch break during work. The food is generally quite healthy, as long as you don't go overboard with the sauces they provide. I particularly enjoy this Flame Broiler because they appear to clean the grill more frequently, which means the beef doesn't have any charred bits. The location is also excellent, with plenty of parking available. Despite being surrounded by office buildings and a hospital, the wait time is minimal. Plus, the food is served promptly!

The prices for the food here are unreasonable. The children's meal I got was quite disappointing, especially in terms of portion size. There was hardly anything on the plate, which explains why it was so empty. The fish tacos from the restaurant next door look much more appealing than what you’ll find here. The prices definitely need to be reevaluated. The quality of the food is average, just like at any other restaurant, but the prices do not match the quantity or quality of what's offered.

"I have dined at this restaurant numerous times over the years, and each visit has been enjoyable. The staff is kind and attentive, the food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is laid-back. My family and I typically come here to celebrate special occasions, but I always find it a delight to eat here. The menu offers plenty of options, along with seasonal specials. Some of my favorites include the fish from the grill menu, lobster rolls, oysters, appetizers, and house drinks. I love pairing my grilled fish entrees with sautéed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and corn as side dishes. You can have any fish from the menu grilled or blackened to your preference. For drinks, I’ve enjoyed the house specials, draft beers, a variety of spirits, wines, and mocktails. Recently, I ordered the Moscow Mule, Old Fashioned, Dark and Stormy, and some cold beers. The mocktails are also fantastic, featuring fresh ingredients like in the Berry Smash and The Spa; they’re all refreshing choices. My family highly recommends the key lime pie and butter cake for dessert—both were incredible. The key lime pie was sweet with a pleasant tang, while the butter cake was tasty and spongy. Even the kids in our group were thrilled with their selections from the fun kids’ menu, which included chicken tenders, fried shrimp, fish and chips, and more, along with activities, crayons, and temporary tattoos, ensuring an enjoyable experience for the entire family. One of the best aspects of this restaurant is its spacious indoor and patio dining areas, which can easily accommodate parties of any size, making it perfect for any occasion. The decor strikes a nice balance between rustic and modern. Additionally, there’s a fully stocked bar in the center of the dining area with some TVs for watching sports. Overall, this is a top-notch restaurant, and I look forward to enjoying many more meals here."

"We wanted to try Zov's Bistro and found this restaurant next to it and packed of people. I smelled all the delicious food and was surprised that yelp never recommended this restaurant in Tustin. We ended up changing our mind to give it a try since I have never tried Malaysia cuisine and love trying something new. We ordered calamari, crab rangoon, and a cup of hot and sour soup as appetizers. It was the best fried calamari we ever had, super flavorful and crispy good quality calamari. It was not over breaded or double fried like a lot of fried calamari from other restaurants. Also the best fresh hot and sour soup I have ever had, the peppers the egg and the vinegar just exactly the right portion. The rangoons were basic with fake crab, but a good portion at a great price. For entrees, we ordered Beef Rendang and the seafood clay pot curry with coconut rice chiken rice. You can choose normal steam rice, brown rice, coconut rice and chicken rice. OMG, the coconut rice is like a dessert, smell delicious and it is such a great taste. Seafood clay pot is sooooooo good with fish, scallop, tofu, bunch of veggies and eggplant all in a spicy and savory broth. The beef rendang is soft, flavorful, and great quality. The curry spices used perfectly complimented the meat without overpowering it. It you want to try extremely good Malaysia food!! Definitely give this place a try."
