"The taste of Ghana. My coworker was raving about this place and I decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed this place because of the vibe and essence of being home most importantly Food was so GOOD! I really enjoyed my meal, I got Jollof rice with Goat which came with a side of sweet plantains, coleslaw, and a bottle of water with the meal. The goat was sooo flavorful and tender. I enjoyed the Jollof but it was a little too salty for me, but definitely not a reason, why not to go back because despite the salt, I couldn?t stop eating it. Definitely can?t wait to go back and try more."

The food here is good. I ordered the croaker with Jollof. I was disappointed to learn that the fish I received was not Croaker. Unfortunately, most people do not know the difference. Next time, I'll order the Snapper. Instagram @KenKooltho

The restaurant is modern and clean, with excellent customer service both over the phone and in person. However, they could improve by either hiring more staff or organizing more effectively to reduce the long wait time before receiving your order. View menu

I don't like talking bad about a place, but this time I'll do it. Did you ever want to eat special meal badly? That you get your way to get it, and you finally found a place that makes it. Drive over an hour, pay almost forty dollars to be disappointed. I cried. I hate wasting food, but I couldn't eat it after the first bite.

Authentic African fare. I tried the red snapper, fufu, beans, plantains, white rice, spinach and fish pie. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and made several suggestions. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. I went at 6:00pm,they close at 8pm and I lucked out with parking right out front. The dining area is clean. They also have an assortment of softdrinks as well as sorrel and malta. View menu

I decided to try out The Taste of Ghana after hearing my coworker rave about it, and I was not disappointed. The cozy atmosphere truly made me feel at home, and the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Jollof rice with Goat, which was served with sweet plantains, coleslaw, and a bottle of water. The goat was tender and packed with flavor, although I found the Jollof rice to be a bit on the salty side. However, that didn't stop me from devouring every last bite. I can't wait to return and sample more of their menu.
