The food was quite enjoyable, but the dining area had a few distractions.

This is one of the best spots in NYC for Jamaican goat and rice and peas. It's so delicious that I'm willing to travel all the way from Queens just to enjoy it. Their lunch selections are fantastic too!

This restaurant serves some of the best Jamaican goat, rice, and peas in NYC. It's so delicious that I make the trip from Queens to Manhattan just to enjoy it. Their lunch special is outstanding as well! View menu

I ordered curry chicken with rice and peas early on a Friday morning around 9:30 am, and it was the worst food I've ever tasted! The dish lacked any flavor and made my stomach upset. The quality of the food has dropped significantly! I will never return to this location again!

First time ordering and I spent $70 the large oxtails they only give you 4 pieces and a whole plate of rice and cabbage I was so annoyed it actually had decent flavor. The curried goat taste like they just season with pepper it was not edible at all. Thestew chicken was pretty decent but it had so much dry pieces. Probably wouldn't order from here again unless it's in person

Chicken soup!!! The only place to have it every day, but go fast! Get it early.. Menu is right in front of you, you know what you want before you get to checkout >Customer Service I see a lot of people talking about how something bad is, but this place is always BUSY! Get your food and eat it as long as it's still HOT! Lunch is also nice. Staff at this point keep the GOOD work.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ended up throwing the rice away because it was simply unappetizing. I won’t be ordering from here again. I gave it three chances, but the quality has never matched what I've found at their locations in Florida and Georgia. It's honestly quite unpleasant! They might want to consider shutting down to avoid further harm to their brand.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
