"Chile Rellenos? Not at all! There weren’t any real chile rellenos on the plate—just two thin slices of chili filled with some cheese, all encased in a hard, flavorless batter. The rice was dry, and the refried beans were hard. I won't be going back there again. The chips and salsa bar was just that—a basic chips and salsa setup. The chips and salsa tasted store-bought and didn’t offer anything special. I was really hoping for a better experience, especially since I had heard good things, but I ended up feeling very disappointed. On top of that, it was quite pricey. While the service was friendly and the place was clean, I think they need to reassess their chef to ensure they truly understand what authentic Mexican food is all about. It should be all about the flavor!"

This restaurant has the best food around! The Super Sancho is absolutely incredible. I really love this place, and coming from Texas, I can confidently say it's better than any Mexican restaurant in Houston.

My husband and I were underwhelmed with the food. It's not Mexican, it's Tex Mex. The cook is not even mexican. They had generic chips and cold salsas at a bar that was quite safe from a bottle. The prices were ridiculous, but the portions were good and the sauce that she seemed to put on everything was good. The decorations were Native American not mexican. A perfect place for people to get a quasi Mexican meal.

The chip and salsa bar was nothing to write home about; just store-bought chips and salsa that I could easily find at any grocery store. I had high hopes based on what I had heard, but I left feeling very disappointed. On the positive side, the service was friendly and the restaurant was clean, but they really need to rethink their chef and ensure they understand true Mexican flavors. It’s all about the taste! Plus, the prices were quite steep for what you get. View menu

My husband and I were disappointed with the food. It wasn't truly Mexican, more along the lines of Tex-Mex. The chef wasn't even Mexican. They served standard chips and cold salsas at the bar that tasted like they came straight from a bottle. The prices were quite high, but the portions were decent, and the sauce they use on almost everything was tasty. The decor was more Native American than Mexican. Overall, it seemed to be a place for those looking for a somewhat Mexican dining experience.

this place was horrible, the kids menu is way to expensive, i ordered chicken strips for my 2 year old and they were just thin crappy cuts off of chicken that were burnt and way to hard for him to eat, the rest of the food was bad, the cheese is like melted plastic with no flavor, the rice was horrible, the beans were dry, the service was very bad, they use the same sauce for everything and its way too sweet, the nacho bars chips are horrible, I've been there a few times hoping for it to get better and it just gets worse, i gave this place a chance and it lets me down every time, they need to learn how to make real Mexican food
