"I enjoyed eating here! This was my first time trying Uzbek food. I came for lunch and got a chicken somsa and the bukhara salad. Both were delicious, especially the somsa! Polite staff. The inside of the restaurant is pretty and has really unique lantern lighting. One thing I like is that the menu is smaller but still has options- you can go big and get group-sized plates, or you can get several smaller dishes. I got complementary hot tea as well. That was nice; the tea had a slight orange fragrance. Overall really nice and I'd love to come back the next time I'm in SF."

As for wheelchair accessibility, even though it's a two-story establishment, a person in a wheelchair can receive good service on the main floor.

The place has beautiful plates, but the service was terrible. Our waiter was texting and was slow to seat us, forgot to put in our order and the rest of the staff was was equally inattentive. When our food came it was mediocre, the meat was over cooked, the fried dumplings were bland and air fried.

The Sofi Osh provided a delightful taste of Central Asia, with every dish brimming with rich flavors and spices that made each bite enjoyable. The beef somsa struck a perfect harmony between flaky pastry and savory filling, leaving me wanting more. The lamb mixed kebab was succulent and expertly grilled, showcasing a wonderful blend of flavors that was truly exceptional. Overall, the dining experience was outstanding! View menu

The place smells like sewerage. I don’t know why I didn’t leave at the moment I entered. But I saw 4.6 stars reviews from over 900 people and was sure the food will be good. This is the worst food experience I’ve ever had in my life. The service was fine, our waiter just did his job. The interior is nice and dining area seemed clean, but they have very dirty restrooms. And they really need to do something with the smell.

Quality food! A must try spot, very interesting flavours and dishes. Very meat based menu, therefore not the best place for vegetarians. The bread dishes are amazing so flaky and layered. Very nice interior with beautiful light fixtures and fine china the food is served on. The service is very friendly but seems to be understaffed. Very slow responses to any requests, again very friendly just slow. Try the compote juice drink!

The restaurant has a strong smell reminiscent of sewage, and I regret not leaving as soon as I walked in. This has been the worst dining experience I've ever had. While the service was acceptable, the restrooms were quite dirty. They really need to address the unpleasant odor. The mixed grill was exceedingly overpriced; I wouldn't recommend ordering it. Personally, I think a mixed grill should only cost around $40, but that's just my take. View menu

On our visit to SF we came across this restaurant. The selling point for us for Halal and affordable prices since we came from LA . Tried Uzbeki food for the first time ever and was not disappointed. Will definitely visit again next time we are in SF and bring our friends along and also suggest this place to our friends and family visiting SF . The staff was really nice and kind . The tea was yumm too .Parking: Street parkingKid-friendliness: Sturdy and clean high chair

I recently dined at an Uzbek restaurant in San Francisco, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly tasty, offering a delightful array of flavors from Uzbekistan. The service was on point, with attentive and friendly staff, ensuring a memorable dining experience. What impressed me further was the restaurant's convenient location, making it easily accessible for locals and tourists alike. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic Uzbek culinary journey with top-notch service.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
