"As soon as you walk into Nostalgia, you're hit with the familiar scent of an old Chinese restaurant and the vintage decor. The drink menu is extensive and affordable, which is a nice bonus. I began my meal with the Hot and Sour soup, and it was delicious! The appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot—absolutely fantastic. The Chicken Chow Mein was freshly prepared and very tasty. Our waitress was attentive and gave excellent recommendations, although she was a bit busy, which made the service a little slow. Overall, I had a great experience with wonderful food and good service. I will definitely be coming back!"

The food taste highly MSG. The style of cooking seems oily and old like the 80's. Food did not seem fresh but dull and old. reheated several times feel.

Oh I just live this place! It's your classic in-town 80's Chinese food with all your favorite dishes. Open late and wait staff is just amazing. Always look forward to going here. View menu

yum! my friend hates Chinese food, but this is the one place he will tolerate because he has always gone here with his family. he's been obsessing me with a fried rice! also the teriyaki is delicious. the best part is that we live less than 5 minutes away, so I can scare him to take me more often here. yum yum yum! Service is great! We love the waitresses here. The setup isn't bad either. It's comfortable seating. There's certain things we get here and ones we don't. I'm a fan of their rice and beef teriyaki. Not so much the Rangoon though. I would like to see more dumplings for the price too. Overall a decent Chinese restaurant but not my favorite.

Food here is really really good. We go out of the way to come here. Service is good. Server is attentive when there, and checks in throughout your meal. Ambiance is that of a Chinese restaurant. Primarily booths with partitions that can be removed to accommodate larger parties (8-10). Parking is hit or miss depending on if it's busy. There are plenty of booths so no waiting once parked.

"We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. Hardly any clams in the clam cake. My husband was excited when he found one clam chunk; sarcastically excited. I remember boasting about how you could stick a spoon straight up in the chowder..not this one it was runny and watery and disgusting. It didn't even taste like clams it tasted like potato soup..barely. The red chowder wasn't even red it was like a mix between clear and red but someone decided to throw in three little canned tomato pieces. The baked scallops were soggy and disgusting and the french fries, even though I know they come frozen, we're nothing to boast about either. The fish n chips disappointed. It used to be a fish that barely fit in the container and now it's a fish that could fit in one side portion of the container. The baked scrod was not bad but it just looked ick. Iggy's threw a small piece of fish in with some squishy side vegetables and some rice pilaf that look like it came out of a bag premade. All of the lemons they gave us were disgusting and smelled like soap and were oily; so we had to throw them out. The only pictures I could take was right before my husband dumped it all down the sink. We had guests for lunch who had never had Iggy's and we must have boasted and boasted about it for hours before it arrived. We spent well over $240 on this order and I feel like we got ripped off big time by Iggy's. We will not come back anymore. I can understand the price hikes and I can understand the economy but I cannot understand changing recipes that made this place famous. I now feel 100% confident that my white chowder is better than theirs any day of the week. And that is something that I would never have said over the two plus decades we have been coming here. Is so sad when a childhood memory turns into an adult nightmare. Do better Iggy's... Just do better. Economy be damned don't screw with the chowder and the clam cakes. After all that's what made you famous and that was the original menu. -Sad and disappointed, Local Oakland Beacher. They're so-called red chowder is picture here and my mother-in-law sink. I should have just set my money on fire."
