"I'm not sure of the young lady's name that waited on us, but she was probably the best waitress I have ever had. There were over 20 in our party as we were celebrating my mom's 81st birthday. She seated us and then started taking drink orders and then came around for our food orders. She never missed a beat or messed up any of our orders. The food was amazing, along with the restaurant. They made my moms birthday a special night for her. Thank you all!! We will be back."

"This restaurant embodies what Applebee's strives to be. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming for families, and the food is delicious. The prices are reasonable compared to other eateries in the area. I highly recommend trying either the Whiskey Bacon Burger or the Pretzel Sticks with Beer Cheese Dip."

"The young man taking my order seemed bothered that I interrupted his day. Very rude and off putting, almost to the point that I told him to forget it and drove away. The wife wanted this and it was the only reason I was here. When I pulled up to the windowthis kid gave me the rudest look. Thankfully, there was a very pleasant woman there helping me and he just stood over her backwith this terrible look on his face glaring at me the entire time. Kid needs some customer service training for sure."

"This review is based on a chain BBQ restaurant. Understand that this is not gourmet competition BBQ, this is actually a great place. If you are familiar with Soulmans or Spring Creek BBQ in Texas, you will know where to place this place. I had the Dirty Deed who came with Pulled Pork, pork ribs and sourcing for the meat and I chose Coleslaw and was for the sides. There are some really great flavors in everything I had. The beans were brilliant and the Coleslaw was probably some of the best I had from a BBQ place. The ribs were just a little dry for my pleasure, but they also had good taste. Sausage was only standard sausage and the stacked pork had no sauce if you didn't want it. They had three different sauces to try and everyone was great in their own right. Overall, I would recommend this place for fast and good BBQ."

"The takeout and drive-thru options are great. The beef rösti was excellent, and the fries were crispy—definitely noticeable. The King-Rind burger was absolutely fantastic; it's the best I've tasted in a long time. Overall, I am very impressed with the improved Burger King Essen."
