"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we are looked after before us. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

The food was good, not the best Nepalese food in the bay area but they get there. It's a new restaurant and they are doing very well. View menu

Amazing local cheeses, fabulous flavor combos, our favorite waitress from the now-closed Chatterbox StPaul, and bartenders with man-buns.

Popped in right as they were opening on a Sunday morning because our original destination, the Black Coffee & Waffle Bar, was ridiculously packed full of

The menu offers both Indian and Nepalese food. We only tried the Nepalese cuisine and enjoyed the unique flavors on our sample plate. I will definitely come again. View menu

Really cute place, only about 7 months old, it's food from Nepal. The staff are very nice and will help you choose the food if you don't know all of the menus. Good portions at a fair price for really unique food (and really good food!)

I came across this restaurant while searching for a place to eat in Pleasanton. The food at this charming Nepali/Indian restaurant was fantastic. We had a member in our group who was knowledgeable about Indian cuisine, so they helped us select high-quality dishes, and the waitress assisted with the Nepali meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this cozy Pleasanton restaurant and plan to return time and time again. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed. Plus, the prices are very reasonable; our bill for four people was only $65.
