"Enjoyed my dinner tonight. I love traditional rolls and sushi so my review is based on the nigiri and 2 rolls I ordered.I used to go to hiroba back at their original location over 10 years ago, the menu is slightly condensed from what I remember, but its straight forward AYCE sushi.I really enjoyed the sake nigiri, ikura, ika, and Cajun tuna. The quality of fish is not going to be your fine dining sushi spot, but its definitely am AYCE quality kind of place. They make their sushi with effort so I didn't feel like I got any bad rolls or pieces. Quality could be better but for the price it's worth the quick sushi craving hit.Pablo was the sushi chef that helped me today, he's friendly and did a great job with the special request I had for the albacore (ceviche style) roll I asked him to make. It was my favorite for sure. Their habanero sauce is deliciously spicy and comparable to sushimis, they share the same recipe I assume since sushimis took over the original location.Overall it's a great AyCE sushi spot and I enjoyed my visit. It was just myself, quiet and a little empty on a Sunday night. But they're ready to feed you if you're ready to eat. Will be back if I'm visiting in the area againTotal with tax was $37.30. Ayce and 1 hot tea!"

This is a hidden gem and well worth your time to visit. The all you can eat sushi, great service and staff. If you're in the Sparks area doing some shopping at Legends, etc. I definitely recommend that you try it.Food: 5/5

It's pricey but good. Service was fantastic as well. The sushi had great flavors and wasn't your typical tempura shrimp in every roll, topped with a pound of crab. Everything we tried was delicious...we will definitely be back!!!

Most definitely a gaijin place. Okay for the area. The food caters to the American palate. The servers almost expect you to order the AYCE option and are quite rude if you want to order a la carte. Since we wanted a la carte, we were stuck in a corner and ignored. The interior is clean and pleasant smelling. No fishy odors. It is cramped with tables and a little dark.Might not be returning. The Kwon roll was small and had no flavor. The King roll was small and the most disgusting fried anything I've ever had. The hot tea water was warm at best. The waitress seemed as if she didn't want to be there. Having a direct view of their messy kitchen was not a pleasant atmosphere. The Unagi sauce was good. The Tempura Bananas was wonderful. 3 people had dinner for $112.00 will not go there again.

Nice little place to get sushi. Nothing fancy as far as atmosphere goes, just plain white walls, a sushi bar like normal, and tables on concrete floors.Sushi isn't the best of the best but its pretty great especially for its location and convenience. Service is top notch, very attentive staff and very quick to make the food.Parking: Parking is hit or miss. Its in a strip with many other businesses. Could be easy on a Monday, could be impossible on a Saturday.

Food was great. Service was horrible. We had to keep stacking our plates because they weren't coming by to check on us. The 2 girls there were too busy talking to each other to come to the table. At one point I had to wave my paper in the air because eye contact twice didn't work. Our empty glasses sat at the end of the table for 15 minutes before more eye contact finally got their attention. For most of our visit there was only 1 other table seated. Then another about half way through our visit. Not sure what the problem was. Food will make us want to go back, not service. View menu

Recommended by a fellow that lives in a neighboring town. DID. NOT. DISSAPPOINT!! We are those jerks that didn’t realize they closed at 8 instead of 830 and we walked in maybe 7 minutes to close time. We probably would have left, but our server (Betsa) greeted us at the door and didn’t even hesitate getting us a table. She warned us we would have to order pretty much right away since the kitchen would be closing. We had the all you can eat, our food came out quickly and the food was amazing. They had us out in 45 minutes, wishing us safe travels and hoping to see us next year. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!

My partner and I have been frequenting this restaurant for a long time, even before it moved to its current location. We have occasionally tried new places, but always come back here. However, recently we have noticed some subtle changes that have impacted the overall quality of the food. For example, the hot sauce is now much sweeter than before, which is overwhelming. The seaweed salad is too wet and the seaweed is tougher than we remember. The teriyaki sauce is also thinner than it used to be. This has happened multiple times now, and we had hoped it was just a temporary change, but it seems like they are sticking with these new products. Despite the great service, the decline in food qua...

"Last night I experienced the most unscrupulous experience I have ever had with a restaurant with the service at the Wok. I am so offended by their actions; I can say we are honestly done with visiting the restaurant in the future. I’ll start with we have been getting dinner on our way out of town every month or so from the Wok for years. Their food is generally very good, but we have had a few times where the food missed the mark. Everyone has an off day so we keep going back, until last night. Their online ordering did not work, so my wife called in an order while I was driving through Reno and I stopped by to pick it up. There was a little confusion when I arrived as they ahad three to go orders on the counter. It seemed they worked everything out and I paid for the order and left to head home. Twelve minutes later I get a call. It’s the Wok and they tell me they had given me the wrong order and asked if I could return. The employee apologized profusely and since we wanted what we ordered, I went back. I arrived at the restaurant and took the order they had provided back in and they checked the bags. The cashier told me she charged me the wrong amount as she had rung up the wrong order. I asked what the difference was (first bill was $63.00 for four entrees and some potstickers) and was told the new total was $94.00. The last order we had was for the same items and was just under $70, so $94 was a shock. The cashier told me she had told my wife the wrong amount and apologized. She also offered a $10 discount. I paid the bill and said I would wait for our food. Much to my shock, I watched them empty the items they had given me, place it on the counter and everything was what we ordered. One entrée had spilled when they took it out and they quickly put it in another bag and then with a big smile handed me the items I already had. I said, “so my order was correct but the amount you charged was wrong?” I asked why did you lied to me to get me to come back. I was told that I would not have paid if they did not lie about why I needed to come back. I was incredulous and decided the best thing to do was to just leave. So, 35 minutes after I left the first time, I was on my way again. Once I got home, II asked my wife what the total was that they provided when she called in the order. She said they specifically told her they did not have a total and I would provide that to me when I picked up the food. Yet another lie. I tallied up my items and came up with a total of $68.75, certainly less than what I originally paid, but clearly not the $94.00 they tried to charge. So tonight, I called and ordered the same items and was told the order would be $76.57, yet a different amount. I promptly told them no thank you. Most restaurants would honor their mistake. With that said, if they called and told me I paid the wrong amount, I would have made it right. But instead, they lied to me, clearly tried to overcharge me and then gave me a discount that was still more than the price for the same food 24 hours later. Their actions were inappropriate, uncalled for and unscrupulous. Over the last year, we visited this restaurant 10 times, but last night was the last time they get any business from us."

"Second time at a Charlie Palmer restaurant (first was Four Seasons vegas, 2019, which is now closed . Our server, Erewyn, and busser, Forest, were the stars of the night. Erewyn has a passion for food and wine and it shows. Forest was very attentive throughout our meal and worked hard. The restaurant did not have black napkins, but Forest went to find some for us. The extra effort is applaudable. But then there was the meal. We ordered the bacon appetizer that came out completely unseasoned. We had to ask for salt which only made it nominally more palatable. The dry aged rib eye was also under/unseasoned and chewy like a sirloin. They butterflied it, so not a surprise there. The petite filet was a bit better but also unseasoned. The au gratin potatoes were good. The wine we chose was the highlight of our meal; mostly because it didn’t come from the kitchen. However, the executive chef did come out and sit with the table next to us for about 15 minutes (who were being comped their meal, assuming employees from another CP location based on their conversation . He did not stop at any other table to see how the meal was, including ours where a salt and pepper mill sat prominently, indicating that perhaps the kitchen didn’t send out properly seasoned food. Then the restaurant manager also stopped at the same table, but no others. I would think you would want to stop and talk with the paying customers and see how their meals were in order to gauge quality. That was definitely not the case and our meal was a reflection of the lack of interest. I doubt I will ever eat at a Charlie Palmer again because there are so many better steakhouses to choose from (and I’m wondering whether the $15 ribeye at the Cal-Neva wouldn’t have been better than the $89 one here? ! Nearly $600 later for a dinner for two and the highlights were the waiter and busser. At least service is good, because honestly, we probably could’ve had a better steak at Outback."
