"I highly recommend this restaurant for their quality of service and delicious curries. The staff paid close attention to our needs and recommended dishes when we were unsure what to order from their extensive menu. The downstairs seating area is spacious, with a small outdoor dining area as well. The goat curry was perfectly cooked, with tender meat and a non-greasy curry. The chicken curry had well-cooked chicken and the right balance of spices. I appreciated having chapatis as an option for bread, which is not common in many Indian restaurants. The restaurant has a homely feel. The only downside was that I wasn't a big fan of their momos, as they lacked flavor."

Our party of five enjoyed a fantastic dinner at House of Tandoor last week. It was easily the best Indian food that I have had in years and the best Shrimp Korma ever. Large menu, nice atmosphere, great food. Highly recommended.

I had an incredible dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The Tikka Masala was simply outstanding, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Mango Lassi was a delightful complement to the meal, offering a refreshing and sweet contrast. Overall, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic and delicious Indian cuisine!

Great food and excellent service! The food was warm, fresh, and flavorful. Beautiful decor inside as well. We got the vegetarian dinner for two, which is an amazing deal two entrees, soup, samosas, naan, and tea. They let you choose mild, medium, or spicy for the entrees. Best Indian food restaurant I have been to in a long time can't wait to go back! View menu

We were on time for our reservation and were greeted and seated right away. The server came right over to start our experience. We ordered appetizers and the main course and the appetizers were delivered in five minutes. The main course was delivered timely and the portions were healthy and delicious. The music was great and just enough volume to allow conversation at our table but not overhear others. We will definitely come again.

This restaurant is located below ground level with narrow stairs, which may be difficult for some to access. It is situated on a charming narrow street across from a train station with various shops. The dining room is spacious and well-lit, and the staff is friendly and attentive. They offer a lunch buffet option for $14.95 with 4 vegetarian items and 1 vegan option. Ordering off the menu allows for a greater selection of vegan choices. Indian cuisine is always my go-to while traveling, especially as a vegetarian for over 30 years. This restaurant provided higher quality food and better service compared to similar places I have tried in the Boston area.

"I haven't been here in several years and this place has changed the menu since then. They used to serve crepes, but it seems like that is no longer on the menu. I miss the crepes they used to serve, but this place still seems like an excellent local coffee shop with sandwiches.Service: I was greeted promptly as soon as I walked in even though the worker was busy making a drink. They take your name when you order at the counter in the middle of the cafe, and they call out your name when your individual items are ready to pick up from the counter. They do not serve dine-in orders within 30 minutes of closing. There are tables on either end of the cafe, but not much, so don't expect a seat during peak times.Coffee: Served as is, the hot latte was foamy and velvety without any bitterness. Even though my order was to go, I was surprised to still see latte art when I took the lid off.Food: I ordered the Otom sandwich, which includes egg, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato spicy aioli, on your choice of bread. I chose to have on an everything bagel, which had a perfectly substantial amount of chewiness. The egg was overcooked and dry, but the rest of the ingredients, like the tomato and the aioli, covered up the dryness. The spicy aioli is mild but does add a nice small kick to the flavors. It is a fairly greasy and messy sandwich thanks to the bacon and aioli, so be sure to have a couple of napkins on hand. Overall, it was delicious."
