"Absolutely delicious! I was in NYC for just one night and stumbled upon this hidden gem nearby. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance was very relaxing. I even had the opportunity to practice my Chinese, and the team generously taught me some new words. For my meal, I ordered the Xiao Long Bao and Cucumber Salad, along with rice and a drink. Mixing the rice with the leftover oil from the salad was pure perfection. The Xiao Long Bao was incredibly fresh and delicate. All of this, including a drink, cost just $21. What an amazing value!"

Excellent food when I ate in. The food was hot and was seasoned well. The server was very polite and attentive. I'll be coming back with family soon.

Every dish we ordered tasted authentic and savory! Rocket speed to bring dishes on the table with minimal waiting time. Not a place for group dinning more than 5-6. I would like to go back when visiting New York next time.

Great food at very reasonable prices, with a very good selection of dishes. You can see how good it is by the amount of uber eats that was being picked up. I would definitely recommend this place if you want authentic Chinese food. View menu

Last week, we had our inaugural experience at this amazing restaurant, and it undoubtedly won't be our last. We had a fantastic evening, thanks to the superb service, delectable food, and excellent drinks—all at a great price. We will definitely be back soon!

My experience at this restaurant was, to say the least, disappointing. I ordered the kampao chicken and the pepper chicken, which came with wonton soup and hot and sour soup. Unfortunately, the dishes lacked flavor and were excessively spiced with fried red hot chilis. The pepper chicken was tough and seemed like it had been refried, giving off an unpleasant burnt oil smell. Overall, I was not impressed at all. View menu

I don’t know who wrote the Overview about this restaurant that said that it had “standard” Chinese food, but they were way off. Everything was delicious and nothing was “standard”. For example, the dish in the photo of pork belly and cucumber with garlic and spicy oil. I’m not qualified to say whether or not the food here is “authentic” Hunan food, but there were a lot of Chinese speakers in the room who seemed to be enjoying themselves!

????So delicious! Was in NYC for one night, and I stumbled across this place nearby. Super friendly staff and calm atmosphere. I got to practice my Chinese, and the staff was very kind to teach me some new words. As for the meal, I got the Xiao Long Bao andCucumber Salad, plus rice and a drink. Adding the rice to the leftover oil from the salad was *chef’s kiss*. The xiao long baowas super fresh and delicate. All of this plus a drink was $21. Great value!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
