"We had a reservation and also had noted it was our anniversary. The host barely acknowledged our presence let alone the reservation or occasion. He sat us without talking or making eye contact. Our waitress wasn't interested either. She didn't explain the specials and then our app and entree came one right after the other. We barely had a time to enjoy a sip of our cocktails. A runner delivered them and we didn't see her again until it was time for the bill. When she then asked us what we had so she could tally the bill. The whole process was maximum 50 minutes. I'm not sure anyone even noticed that we left. It was odd and a disappointment."

Service was poor. Our waiter was not friendly and quick to grab order. He reappeared to refill my coffee, but aside from that we had no interaction with him. I ordered the breakfast burrito, the temperature was tepid at best. It looked a lot better than it tasted. The coffee was also tepid. The restaurant/menu looks great online, but the experience was lacking. Golden was busy, and I regret we didn't look for better options during our visit.

Disappointing is the first nice thought that comes to mind. We were there for happy hour and the only taste worthy item we ordered was a flatbread. The mussels in the mussels fries tasted and chewed like bits of rubber; the fries were mundane. The brussel sprouts were ok, overloaded on oil and occasionally crispy but generally undercooked. And $16 for a glass of ordinary wine on a Happy Hour menu is unreasonable, in my humble opinion. From previous reviews, I guess my expectations were unrealistic. Indulge yourself and find someplace worthy of your monies…
