"This was the most disgusting chicken finger sub I 've ever had. The main problem was the overwhelming amount of mayo on it. The second picture shows the amount I scooped off with a spoon while trying to eat it. The roll was soaked and mushy, and the sub was falling apart as globs of mayo fell out of it. The first picture shows the second half that I just couldn 't eat, both sides of the roll loaded with mayo. I called to explain and talked to a manager named Joe. When I was done describing the problem, all he said was, Okay. I asked if that was it and Joe proceeded to tell me that he was upset that I trash-talked his employee for making the sub poorly and that she was new, only on the job 2 days, and she doesn 't know how to make subs yet. Why the is she making subs then, Joe? Who the is training these people? How does anyone, this girl included, not know how much mayo is a reasonable amount of mayo? It was like a sub made by a person who never ate a sub or sandwich before in their life and thought, Ah, this looks like a good amount of mayo, as they scooped it on over and over. Joe told me he had a bad day today and this was just making it worse and he didn 't even offer a refund until I asked for one. He was crazy standoffish and never sincerely apologized for the bad experience. I figure, he 's probably got a crush on the new girl and even though she makes subs worse than a chimpanzee could, he 's still going to try to use his manager flex to hook up with her. The dude was so butt-hurt on the phone call, something has to be up between him and her. He took it very personal. So, the food was terrible, and the manager response, even worse. If you like the food here, make sure this girl doesn 't make your sub. If you have a complaint, be careful how you express it to Joe, he 's very sensitive. If you 're thinking about trying John 's, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. You 're probably going to get food made by ignorant people who don 't know how to make good food or handle complaints."

Stopped here while out of town and in the area. The food was good and the portions you got for the price were great. View menu

Quality has gone downhill especially on Grand Island. Presentation of pizzas is terrible. Do not offer veteran discounts.

This place is consistently good with their turkey clubs. They have the best turkey clubs around their bacon is always crispy. Their tomatoes and lettuce are always fresh. I highly recommend this place... And leave them a tip because they do a great work!!!

Hiring drivers or help wanted or something like that has been on a big sighn out front for like, the last year or 2. Over the course of that time I 've applied more times than I can count, and I live right around the block If they aren 't hiring, why do they have a sighn out front that they are?

"A WNY staple for almost 80 years! Mr Mrs. Carl Greta Anderson, opened the first Anderson’s Frozen Custard in the Bronx, NY. They say that missing family they returned to Buffalo, to open their second custard stand on Kenmore Avenue in 1947. From there they expanded to other locations, such as Tonawanda (pictured in the attached pics), Amherst, Williamsville, Lancaster...The Amherst location lacks some of the initial charm of some of the older locations but is clean, updated and comfortable. There is a drive thru window and outdoor seating when the weather permits. You order at the front counter and they call your name when your food is ready for pick up. This is not a 5 star roast beef, but it's considerably better than an Arby's etc., as this is 100% natural beef (so 4 of 5 stars for me). Moist and delicious every time with Kaiser or the traditional kimmelwick roll options (horseradish available too). My last trip it tasted great, but was cooked a little more than I like (med rare med). Their pickles are pretty amazing too.Curly fries (good not great), salads, soup, chicken and many other options available. Ice cream cones (hard and soft serve)and even delicious ice cream cakes (my favorite) are available to go. Great for parties etc. Fountain drinks (you fill refill) are available with Pepsi and lesser known but unique flavor options including loganberry. If you're hungry and in the area of one of these, stop in!"
