"Found some happiness at Taiwanese restaurant Joy. We had to sample everything because the menu just looked too good. All the Taiwanese favorites: thousand layer pancake, shrimp wontons in chili oil, minced pork over rice, chiayi jidori chicken over rice, wonton noodle soup, cold apps like a cucumber salad, woodear mushrooms, and cabbage salad, and their crowd fave: dan dan noodles. Everything was fresh and tasty. Portions are good sized for individual dining but great to order a bunch too for sharing and sampling. The line will be out the door but the concept is quick service and the line moves fairly quickly. Big star for their ability to keep the dining room moving and guests seated quickly with food coming out of the kitchen at a rapid fire pace. a gem on York in Eagle Rock."

This place is always amazing. I love the pork belly clamshell bun, Dan Dan noodles, lotus root salad, taro boba, and shrimp wontons. Others too but those are my top.

The wonton noodle soup and thousand layer pancake were absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly and lovely. This is one of my favorite and most reliable spots to eat.

In this neighborhood, there are many dining options, but Joy is one of my top choices. I strongly suggest trying the Wonton Noodle Soup and the rice bowls! The dishes are consistently tasty. View menu

This place was surprisingly superb! It’s gourmet Taiwanese food at its finest. Very inexpensive smaller portioned. Loved the decor and ambiance! Got here at the right time as there was a long line afterwards!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it has quickly become one of my new favorites. I will definitely be coming back here regularly. The Dan Dan noodle kit was outstanding, the mochi was delicious, and the lotus root was cooked to perfection.

Ordered Dan Dan noodles and minced pork on rice on DoorDash. Some of the rice were only half-cooked and the noodles were sticked together. I have ordered Joy many times through a delivery app and this is the first time that I tasted a compromised quality. View menu

It is uncommon to find a place that excels in every aspect, but Joy truly deserves a 5-star rating in all categories! The food, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional. Additionally, the bathrooms are clean and the restaurant has a charming ambiance. I highly recommend stopping by and trying their scallion sandwich!

The Dan Dan Noodles were overcooked so the noodles were soggy and congealed together. The Thousand Layer Pancake tasted like it was a leftover from the night before and had the texture of cardboard. I was so excited to try this place after seeing the reviews and maybe it was an off night, but I threw away every thing after a couple of bites.

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
