"What stands out here is the more traditional flavors and cutting techniques compared to Wonderful. Sometimes, at Wonderful, the ingredients are cut into such large pieces that it feels like the chef might not be familiar with how to prepare Chinese food properly. This restaurant also offers some interesting flavors, utilizing various types of chili peppers that add a nice kick. They incorporate unique ingredients like lotus root and pickled long beans, which are quite rare in most Chinese restaurants around here. Additionally, the waitress is extremely friendly and efficient, even though she is often the only one serving all the tables. Overall, this restaurant has definitely earned a much better rating from me now!"

The food was quite good. We were a group of 10 and we really appreciated the solo waitress working hard to manage the entire restaurant. She did an impressive job!

This is a great place to experience authentic Chinese Xiang cuisine. Since there were only two of us, we didn’t order many dishes. The stir-fried green beans were a delightful choice for some greens, and you can't go wrong pairing those dishes with plain white rice!

I called to place an order and asked for some recommendations. The woman I spoke with was incredibly impatient and rude. She told me to look online and call back. The problem is that even if I do look online, I won’t know which option is the best. I wouldn't recommend going to a place like this. The service was terrible. View menu

The food was quite tasty, though it was a bit on the oily side. I would have rated it higher, but my noodle dish, which was supposed to have vegetables, contained almost none—just a bit of cabbage and green onion. I ended up mixing it with my other dish, which had peppers, to add some flavor. If there had been some fresh, crispy vegetables, I would have given it a full five stars.

Every dish I tried surpassed my expectations. The stir-fried minced pork with dried cucumber peels was wonderfully spicy and full of flavor. The tofu was cooked flawlessly and served hot. The biggest portion was the stir-fried boned chicken with pepper and garlic. We also ordered rice and noodles as side dishes. My favorite dish of the day was the eggplant with minced pork, garlic, and cilantro. The squid with tentacles was the spiciest dish, but it was incredibly tasty. This place is a definite must-visit!
