"In a strip center (Marcin Plaza) on 2920 next to Texas Automotive Group is Uncle Julio's. They were doing a brisk business when I arrived at 7:15 Thursday night. After the host seated me I was promptly brought a basket of warm tortilla chips and two cups of fresh salsa; a chilled creamy green salsa and a warm smoky red salsa which had a little spice to it. The menu is extensive and varied. I ordered the 3 cheese enchiladas pictured below. Those are the cheesiest enchiladas I've ever had. The were filled with warm gooey cheese and topped with more cheese. You can order 2 or 3. If you order 3 you better be hungry. Thursday night the house margaritas are BOGO. Kids eat free on Sunday with the purchase of an adult entree. HH is all day Mon-Thur and until 7 pm Friday night."

First off…the salsa. The salsa verde is phenomenal; the rojo is also very good.The food was amazing as well. I had shrimp tacos with a pineapple salsa and it was perfect. The beans are great.The drinks were good as well but I did have to doctor mine a bit; I added a little simple syrup.Overall a great experience!

I have visited Julio's on Sawdust in Spring twice now. The restaurant always appears to be busy. On Friday night, I sat at the bar for dinner. The bartenders and servers were attentive and the food was good. Although our food may have sat out for a few minutes and was warm rather than hot, the great service more than made up for it. I plan to come back again in the future.

I love the food here. Great service. Fell short Came for cinco de Mayo drinks and food and was disappointed that freaking cool and the gang was on repeat. Why? Also attention to detail I guess gets thrown out the window during busy times. Margarita machine was down but we saw another table getting served a frozen margarita. How's that possible? We went to celebrate my granddaughters 18th burthday. The food was great, the helping were large, the staff was very friendly and gave really good service. They really went all out when they brought her cake out, she loves Tres Leches cake and theirs is wonderful. My husband and I were looking for birria tacos and wound up at Julio’s for the first time. The tacos were delicious and so was the red snapper my husband ordered. The margarita was so flavorful and not watered down at all. Our server Santiago was the absolute most attentive server we’ve ever had. He came over multiple times to ask if we needed anything. We left him a tip at the table but as we walked out, my husband gave him another few dollars. Overall this place is absolutely amazing and we will definitely be going back .
