"My husband I went on a date here and walked away feeling disappointed. We felt that the service was a tad slow although the stuff had good knowledge on the wines. They offer a very small food menu and many of the items we wanted were out. The ricotta toast with mushroom and the scallops. We feel that if you offer such a small menu, it’s important to have them available. I also has to send back my cocktail as it was incredibly sour and off balanced. I know it is a wine bar but if you offer it, it should be solid. Overall, fantastic wines, beautiful atmosphere and meh on the service and food."

Hosted a birthday party for my spouse and everything was perfect. Staff, Food, Ambiance....if you want an intimate, gourmet wine bar to host a family gathering, this is the place!

The wine was excellent, which is obviously primary for a wine bar lol. The atmosphere was cozy too. However, mind that the menu is really small so if you?re hungry, eat first and chill here after. View menu

The food is tasty, and the atmosphere is dark and cozy (albeit a little loud), but the service is a bit unbearable. After multiple visits over a decent span of time, it's clearly not an isolated issue. Hoping to return when that's all sorted.

The place looks nice, has a good selection of wine and what I had was tasty. But it is overpriced. Not sure if those are the standard NY prices, but it seems excessive to me (22USD for a glass of wine, and 33USD for a very small duck breast).

Exceptional. A few weeks back, I enjoyed the pear dessert and a glass of wine at the bar while reading my book. The atmosphere is perfect for dining alone, on a date, or with friends. The bartenders and waitstaff were wonderful and hospitable! View menu

Intimate, warm wine bar with a large selection of wines. I asked for a slightly sweeter red wine and they brought me a syrah that was a specialty wine not on the menu by the glass. It was really good. The outdoor patio is very nice with a heat lamp and lights. The WINNER bread and culture butter was very good.

I absolutely adored this wine bar! Everything was fantastic, from the atmosphere to the service, the food, and of course, the wine. There wasn't a single negative thing I could say. I highly recommend it as one of the top wine bars in the area. And do not forget to try the risotto - it was absolutely incredible!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
