"I went here on a rainy Tuesday night. The udon was the perfect meal for a gloomy day.Food: I got my udon to go and they treated my bowl with such care even though I got take out. I really enjoyed seeing the attention to detail that have for every bowl they make! When I got home, the noodles were still perfectly chewy, not too soggy (after a 15min drive). There was a great topping to noodle ratio, in my opinion. I also got some karaage as an appetizer. The sauce that came with it was very good. I liked how crispy the chicken was without having too much batter.Service: I really like the counter service that have set up. It is like a fast casual place but the inside is very nice. Kagawa is perfect for work lunches since it's so fast. Everyone inside was also super nice and helpful.Other: I will note that anywhere around market is scary to park. I had a hard time finding parking personally (that wasn't a garage). Definitely an amazing udon shop. I can't wait to come back and try their other bowls!"

The udon is good. Nice lunch spot for those who work around the area. It's fun to pay for food using Cash App and Square device here given that the Square HQ is just next door.

I ordered the Tonkatsu Dashi udon, and it had a rich flavor that made it feel like I was enjoying Tonkatsu ramen, although the Dashi flavor emerged later on. I loved it! The noodle texture was great, the chashu was tender, and the portion size was just right for everyone!

I discovered a charming little eatery nestled between the Twitter and Reddit office buildings, perfect for a workday lunch. Here, you can order a selection of Udon noodle soups or curry plates at the counter. After selecting your main dish, you can enhance it with additional toppings and sides. The food was outstanding, the portions were plentiful, and the service was prompt and efficient. Overall, it made for a very enjoyable lunch break. View menu

I showed up near closing time and was pleasantly surprised that all the food was still delicious and fresh tasting. The broth is hearty and flavorful, paired with crunchy and tasty tempura. The bowl I ordered had a more classic udon soup while my partner's had a ramen style broth.I really like that I can order my food in a cafeteria style line, it's a lot more fun to watch them out my bowl together. A bit pricy especially if you want to try more add ons

I sampled several of their dishes, and my standout favorite is the Chicken Curry Udon—it's packed with flavorful chicken for a great price. However, I was not a fan of their Spam Musubi; there was too much rice and it lacked flavor. While I didn't enjoy many of their entrees, I believe this is more about personal preference rather than the quality of the food. The Black Bean Noodles were quite soupy and sweeter than what I typically expect from traditional Korean versions.

This Market Street counter-serve udon cafeteria gets a lot of things right. Authentic Japanese taste, quick service, spacious interior.Whether you’ll come back largely depends on personal palette preference — the very sweet tofu skin a bit of a turnoff in the Kitsune Udon, for example. The minimalist nature of Japanese cooking leaves little room for rectifying if one flavor is not to one’s liking. Well-priced fried accompaniments, yum. Chicken karaage though, a little dry. Yay finally a good noodle spot next to my work. I love this cafeteria style seating this place has. I recently came back from Japan this is just what I needed. Lines move pretty fast as the food is already prepped, it just needed to be assembled. I got the pork tonkatsu udon I believe, w/ pork gyoza. My sister got the beef one chicken karaage skewer. I liked that the beef udon wasn't as sweet as the one from marugame. The noodles here perfectly chewy aldente. They also have a variety of soft drinks w/ Asian inspired flavors like yuzu. Will definitely be back!

The edamame has sauce on it that was pretty good.If you like creamy things, get the kamaage mentaiko udon. It was very good, creamy, and the tempura was very light. I tried to order another to go but the staff didn 't recommend that since the noodles would clump together. I asked what they recommend for to go and they said literally anything else haha. The #3 cost about $18To order, get in line, grab a tray, and place your order with the first staff on the line. They 'll either ask you other questions like if you 're okay with the wait time or remind you to grab a tray. If your order takes longer, they 'll give you a card. Slide that down to the line until the pickup section. A little break...

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
