"So I tried to give this place a second chance. Apparently they always have a rice shortage when I come in. I hope is not because of my race that they keep turning down to serve Me. They always have an excuse as to why they can tend to me. But at this point I do feel like is about race. It is a shame. I do hope is not because if it is you guys a missing out on great customer base. You should definitely advertise that you serve base oh how much rice you have in your stablishment. But never will … – show"

We ate everything! The sushi quality is so good and I’m so happy we found this underground gem.

I don’t know how this place has such high reviews. I’d give it maybe 2.5 star, but definitely no more than 3 for the price point. I don’t mind paying, but not for the quality service I received for $170 omakase tax tip. View menu

We enjoyed omakase. It was a little pricey but it was totally worth it. Service was spectacular. Alice did an amazing job hosting us. We felt like VIPs. I highly recommend this place and I am looking forward to going back.

We went for early bird omakase which is $58. It comes with one appetizer and eight piece of Nigiri sushi. Sushi was good but the sushi rice was bit small for me. The portion was not enough for me so I had to order some more roll and nigiri. Food quality is all good but the price is a little bit high. We paid $130 per person.

We had a really special night in this intimate spot. I can definitely see this restaurant being a great restaurant to become a regular. Everything is very sourced and high quality. The delicate portions were perfect for us. Service was just enough but not too intrusive. Minimal look on the sushi counter. Very recommended to order a few dishes at a time and just enjoy slowly. We made an appointment via email a few weeks prior since we wanted to make sure we could bring our kids (2 years old and 8 month baby) normally omesake doesn’t allowed kids. They were super accommodating and allowed us to sit at the bar! Waitress was very sweet and friendly. Overall we were impressed by the appetizers course part of the omesake. Majority of the sushi were good. Some were average but I would still recommend this place overall. We will be back next time we visit nyc!

They call this a hidden gem and they are right! Tucked away in the basement, this isn't your everyday sushi joint. The menu doesn't offer 100 made up rolls to choose from. Only 4. California with real crab, king salmon, bluefin tuna, and veggie, to which you can add avocado and make spicy. The beauty lies in their main offerings. Starting with Japanese oysters, which were divine, then a tri — toro (tuna) jewelbox that has fatty tuna, chutoro (medium fatty tuna), and akami (regular bluefin … – show
