"This is what you would call an all-American diner. Good home cooked food. They have a discounted menu for seniors. However, I find it to be hit-or-miss from just average to excellent. Have eaten there many times and had really great food. But we like to order food to go and sometimes it's not so great. I'm sure it's probably harder for them to serve excellent food to go and maybe it is for all restaurants. We live close by so that's why we use them a lot. Give it a shot but try it for dine in first. Check the hours before you go because they quit staying open for dinner during the week. I'm sure covid has negatively impacted them."

"I have been frequenting this restaurant location often, and I must say that today they went above and beyond for me. When I accidentally spilled my drink in my truck and Samantha saw me struggling, she not only offered to replace the drink but also helped me clean up the mess. I am grateful for the kindness, smiles, and conversations that I always receive when I visit. My son even raves about the "magic milk" that they make. Thank you to Samantha, Bryan, and the rest of the team for their exceptional service."

"The food at this restaurant was incredibly delicious! The waitress was extremely kind and helpful. My group of 5, who were visiting from out of town, had a wonderful experience thanks to the amazing treatment and delicious food. I am grateful for the excellent service and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant. The dine-in service for dinner was top-notch, with a price per person exceeding $100. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5."

"I ordered the shrimp gnocchi without the shrimp. It comes in a butter sauce that is really good. I wish the gnocchi had some cheese on top like fresh Parmesan but it was still good. We tried the Cuban sandwich too. The meat is thick sliced on it, unlike my favorite Cuban sandwich in Florida where the meat is thin sliced but it was still a good sandwich. The fries appear to be hand cut and weren’t overly greasy at all. The decorations are beautiful, modern and clean looking. Like most places, they are short of help but this didn’t break our waitress. She was so sweet and helpful. The house salad was good. It has cucumbers, tomatoes and onions on it. It tasted so fresh. They have bendy straws! Remember these? I love bendy straws."

"I had passed by this restaurant a few times in the past and finally found myself in the area, so I decided to call and was greeted in Spanish! Authentic, check. They were open for dine-in, which was a pleasant surprise. When I arrived, I was impressed by the decor. If it weren't for COVID-19, I would have definitely organized a dinner date with friends here. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful, and it was great to see the restaurant following social distancing guidelines. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had the 'fun meats' that I enjoy, such as Tamarindo de agua, lengua, tripas tacos, and menudo soup. I usually have to go to southwest Detroit to order these dishes, so I was thrilled that they were available here as well. And let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious. I even ordered another taco dinner to go for my husband with carne asada and al pastor, I can't wait to see how much he enjoys it. While enjoying my meal, I noticed a steady stream of Latin customers coming in, which was reassuring to see. I almost forgot I wasn't in southwest Detroit! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area, and I might even bring my laptop since I noticed there was an outlet next to the booth in the back."
