"#CeliacReviews: I highly recommend this place! I had some concerns after reading reviews on the Find Me Gluten Free app since Kimbap Lab is located next to a pizza stand. However, I spoke with a very friendly employee who assured me that they never share prep space. There’s a fridge with to-go items positioned between the two stalls, and I noticed the staff preparing food for Kimbap Lab at a safe distance from the pizza preparation area. I tried both the bulgogi and tofu kimbap, and I didn’t have any adverse reactions. More importantly, they were incredibly delicious! I really appreciate how Kimbap Lab pairs the kimbap with a unique dipping sauce and banchan, like pickled vegetables. Just a note: the restaurant is located inside a Whole Foods, so seating is not guaranteed."

Absolutely fantastic! The bulgogi beef kimbap roll was exceptionally tasty; I only wished I had ordered two of them!

Believe me. The worst bibimbop in my life. Lack of veggies and flavor. Gochujang sauce is way sweet and gave me so little. And no egg on the bibimbop? Damn i will never ever come back

I can't believe there are Kimbap and Korean traditional feast noodles available in Williamsburg! It's amazing that I'm enjoying banquet noodles at Whole Foods here in the US, haha. I'm just thrilled to be able to have them! View menu

I truly love this restaurant! The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the portion sizes are perfect, and the kimbap is simply delicious. The staff is very friendly, and the service is swift. This is definitely one of my favorite places to grab lunch.

Wonderful staff and super fresh and delicious food! So good for a quick lunch in the area. Grab and go section or you can wait to make your own. Definitely a bit more on the expensive side for kimbap but that’s New York for ya right? Highly recommend for a bite to go in the area.

Initially, I thought the price for the kimbap was a bit high, but they're quite large and made with fresh ingredients. They're ideal for days when I'm craving something satisfying but not greasy. I'm not sure if it's still on the menu, but the janchi noodle soup was also delicious. View menu

I am obsessed with this very yummy food and order at least 2 times a week. I live for the hot janchi noodles and the chicken wings. Due to recent health issues, I get mine just with salt and pepper now. But I used to like the spicy ones.Dietary restrictions: Everything is blessedly gluten-free.

Thank you so much for accommodating my gluten-free needs! I truly appreciate that you provided a completely gluten-free menu, even though it wasn't necessary. The food was absolutely delicious, and as someone with Celiac disease, I’m thrilled to have been able to enjoy this style of Korean cuisine safely. Thank you again!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
