The food at this restaurant is delicious, and the service is outstanding. My only concern is that the tables are not spaced out for social distancing.

Absolutely delicious! The food and service are exceptional. This sushi spot is a favorite of mine, especially since it's close to the beach. Be sure to try the Jalapeno bombs—you won't regret it!

This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. My wife is a big fan of the Sakai. I really enjoy the high tables, and the bar service is consistently top-notch! I highly recommend it to locals and especially to tourists who are seeking a unique local experience.

I almost did not want to review this wonderful Sushi Restaurant out of fear that it would result in tourists overcrowding the place. This place had some of the best sushi I have eaten in my travels at a very reasonable price. Service was quick and the quality was spot on. I give this place 10 out of 10 for food taste and quality, 10 out of 10 for service, and 8 out of 10 for restaurant layout and set up.

It was a busy Saturday night but we didn't have a long wait and definitely enjoyed our food here. The sushi was not the best I've ever had in my life but it was good. The soft shell crab was on point, really loved that. The shrimp siu mai was alright.My highlight that evening surprisingly was actually the ginger dressing for my salad! That was by far the tastiest gingerdressing I've ever had! Most likely will be back if we're visiting Myrtle Beach again. View menu

We had lunch at King Kong today, and although the restaurant was only half full, the service was quite decent but unexpectedly slow. The food was fantastic! We tried the Rainbow roll, Eel roll, spicy California roll, and more. We especially enjoyed the ginger dressing on our salad. Since we were in a larger group, there were a few mix-ups with our orders. I'm giving it 4 stars overall because of the wait time. My ratings are as follows: Food Preparation 8/10, Service 6.5/10, Cleanliness 7/10, Value 8/10.

I've been to this restaurant two or three times, and they offer a vast selection of items to choose from. I tried several new dishes, and my favorite was the Caterpillar Roll. The prices are quite reasonable, and the food quality definitely meets expectations. I enjoy the overall atmosphere, and the waitstaff are pleasant, though not particularly friendly or attentive. They are simply decent for a restaurant, and you might wait around 10 minutes for someone to check on you after your order. Overall, if you have some time to spare and are looking for good sushi, I recommend giving this place a try.

We had a fantastic experience at King Kong, thanks to the friendly staff who were very accommodating with our baby. We decided to visit based on a friend's recommendation, and we were not disappointed! Our server, Ireland, was exceptional; she was knowledgeable about the menu and expertly guided us through our dinner for two, tailored to my wife's preferences. Our older son also enjoyed his rolls, even though he lost a dumpling to the chopsticks! Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, but our standout favorite was the Rocket Roll – its texture and flavor were outstanding! We will definitely be back! View menu
