"Trying a new Moroccan restaurant with friends, Koutoubia is easy to miss with a small store front next to a vehicle storage facility. Run by a very friendly couple, the decor sets the mood and is very comfortable. On Saturday nights, it is a prix fixe menu: delicious Moroccan vegetable soup, a mezze plate for the table with bread flavored with Anise also very good), Bstilla with Chicken IMHO, too sweet and could not find the chicken), an entree chicken or lamb) with couscous, and finally cookies and orange blossom tea. A belly dancer provides entertainment during the evening Something fun and different. Be forewarned the proprietors did not wear masks."

This restaurant was EXCELLENT from the moment we went for my husband the day! The ambience, service, music, decor and food! I'm so sad that the owner sells the place. I wish we had discovered it earlier. What a jewel! View menu

What a great overall cultural experience. Delicious authentic Moroccan food prepared with care and lovely presentation. The decor is lavish and comfortable you really feel transported to another land. The service is exceptional, friendly but not hovering. I plan on returning very soon!

What a fabulous gem! Can't believe this has been here for so long and we've never bothered to check it out. Think staple Moroccan dishes meets refined French cuisine in a festive and beautifully decorated dining room. Flavors were on point and very authentic. Top that all off with the owner host being so welcoming and friendly!

The restaurant was closed! It's closed on Sunday. Why would I leave a table open at a place that's closed? Doesn't your app know when there is a conflict and the customer requires a day or time that the restaurant isn't even open? My guests all went there to find the place that was closed for the celebration of my son, then we had to stand there and find another place. Very unprofessional. View menu

Basically, I remember the day I went there, and I told the guy I just want to order food with less than $35 and he looked at me like I was poor guy he didn't know I had cash with me. He was so disrespectful after I told him I had only $35, he was the old Moroccan guy. I hope he'll treat people better and not look at anyone. If you don't think I'm trying to do it with him and see his attitude

It was great. Kinda funny but great. We were the only ones in there and the hosts were few on words but still kind. Food was pretty good. I’m snotty though and comparing it to food in Morocco. Most dishes were really good though. The bastilla (so? was a bit dry and I miss the chicken being served in a tagine but I would definitely go back. They had belly dancing which was a huge plus. Very intimate Ave overall lovely place.
