"There's a new restaurant on the Upper East Side of NYC that’s worth checking out. It's cozy, though a bit tight on space, but the service is quite good and the draft beer is reasonably priced. I tried the basic ramen dish, which was tasty, though nothing particularly remarkable. The prices are fair as well. If you're in the mood for a quick ramen fix, this place is definitely a solid choice. I plan to try something different on my next visit to see if it’s better than what I had this time. It was packed, so they must be doing something right. Give it a try and see for yourself!"

It was decent overall. However, I found the spicy tuna to be overly spicy, which overshadowed everything else, in my opinion.

The food here is consistently excellent. The staff is very friendly, and although the seating area isn't large, it is both comfortable and pleasant.

I absolutely love this restaurant. It's hard for me to choose anywhere else for lunch when I go out to eat. The pork belly rice bowl is perfectly executed—delicious and wonderfully balanced.

I work close by, so I frequently dine at this restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I especially love their make-your-own poke bowls and the sukiyaki beef bowl. I highly recommend giving these dishes a try! View menu

This restaurant is small and cozy, with a charming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The food is delightful, with everything tasting incredibly fresh. I especially loved the salads. The prices are fair for the area, too. I would definitely return.

The ramen was decent but a bit too salty for my taste. There was no air conditioning—just a noisy fan. The service felt very impersonal; the waiter automatically set the tip to 20% on the payment device and pointed it out without any hesitation. We spent over $70 for two bowls of ramen, which seemed excessive!

It's a cozy little restaurant for dining in, but it seems like they primarily focus on takeout. The homemade dumplings were delicious, and we even ordered a second batch halfway through our meal. However, the spicy fried chicken was quite spicy, and not really to my taste. I've had better spicy tuna poke bowls as well; this one felt uncoordinated and just thrown together. The ramen looked appealing, but I'm not sure I would return. View menu

Kuu Ramen Ues offers Japanese fast food with the typical quick service experience. Perhaps due to the weather, the staff seemed tired and less energetic. The fried chicken was overly battered, and the ramen felt like it lacked care—I’m pretty particular when it comes to Japanese cuisine. Overall, the food was just average, though it was served quickly. The green tea was decent. If you’re looking for quick, so-so food, this place will do.

The restaurant describes itself as having a Japanese zen-like atmosphere, but it felt more like fast food to me, which is fine since that’s really what ramen is all about. The seating is a bit cramped, but the service was quick and friendly, and the ramen was good. I tried the basic shoyu, which had firm noodles and a rich broth, and I enjoyed the pork and egg in it as well. The beer tasted a bit strange for some reason, but that could have just been me—though I have my doubts. Overall, it's a decent spot for a quick bite. I’d give it 3.5 stars.
