"This is undoubtedly one of the top Japanese restaurants in Greenpoint. The buns and gyoza are excellent, while the karaage is juicy and crispy, cooked just right. The ramen is incredibly flavorful, and their yuzu soda is exceptional. The ambiance is beautiful and intimate, and the service is top-notch. However, you really need to address the door situation. Can’t you just keep the second door— the one that opens onto the sidewalk— closed? It’s quite bothersome to have cold air blowing on your back every time someone enters the restaurant, especially in the winter."

"We ordered a variety of dishes, including: - Lemon roll - Oyako salmon with fresh wasabi and ikura toppings - Ex-girlfriend roll - Alaskan roll - Giant salmon roll, which was a hit at our table - Super Philly roll - King salmon with baked mussel - Miso soup - Popcorn roll, which was fun due to its different textures - Two dozen oysters, which were fresh and beautifully presented Every dish was not only delicious but also presented with great care and creativity. "They're new to the upper east side of NYC. The place is small and tight. The service was very reasonable, draft beer was also reasonably priced. My basic Ramen dish was very tasty but not a knock out. Priced well too. If you need a quick Ramen hit this place is OK. I'll try something different next time and see if it's better than my first order. The place was packed so they are clearly doing something right. Give them a try. You be the judge."

"Their vegan ramen was so good! And then I found out the fried tofu that comes in the vegan ramen is fried in pig fat with the meat : not vegan! I was so disappointed! Especially since the first time I had the vegan ramen no one told me that the fried tofu was not vegan. And the steamed tofu is definitely not as good! Overall I'm not a fan of steamed tofu. It's not as flavorful. If you like steamed tofu, you may like it in the ramen. Besides this, the vegan ramen is great. The broth is really flavorful, and the spinach noodles are delicious."
