"Found this hole in the wall mom and pop shop and it was decent. Got the tostilocos which disappointing because they put pickled pork strips in it and I had no idea because it wasn’t in the picture posted and I don’t eat pork. Also got the Sandia Loca which was packed with a variety of fruits, peanuts, and tamarind bits covered in chamoy sauce. I purchased some conchas and was disappointed at how stale and hard they were, definitely tasted like they were a few days old. The elote in a cup was perfect. Had the right amount of mayonnaise, lime juice, tajin and cheese. I will definitely go back for the fruit bowls and the elote. Customer service was great and staffs were friendly."

I came across this charming little Mexican store with a wonderfully friendly staff and some incredibly delicious fresh pan dulce. They bake it right on the premises! What a treat!

If you're looking to avoid waiting for your food and prefer calling in your order for pickup, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Every time I place an order over the phone, I walk in and they seem completely unaware of it.

Panadería La Cascada is a charming mom-and-pop convenience store situated in a small plaza at the corner of Hillcrest Avenue. They offer freshly made juices along with a delightful variety of Mexican sweet breads and other pastries. View menu

Only tried the torta so idk how good anything else is but it was very good. Gave them a 4 stars because one time I ordered over phone and told me 10 minutes then 10 minutes later I arrive to store n they havent even started making it and didn’t even know I ordered but at the end they made it in 5 minutes

The menu features items like sandia loca, fruta picada (fresh chopped fruit), corn, and duros preparados. I can't wait to come back and try more! The service was great; the cashier was friendly and helpful. Although the place is small, there’s plenty of parking available. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Was craving an empanada de crema and decided to look up some bakeries, since I'm new to the area I was not sure which one would be good. But we came here Saturday around lunch time and was greeted nicely and they have a good variety of pan and I was happy to see that they had elote! My fav, so we got some pan and an elote and it was reasonably price. I'm excited to keep coming back here for my cravings! View menu

Really enjoyed the fruit. I got the crazy watermelon and it was so good. Fruit was very fresh and nothing was precut besides the cucumber and jicama I believe. We saw her cut the watermelon and mango and it was delicious. I don't speak Spanish very well but the cashier who mainly spoke Spanish was very kind and got my order right. The two ladies in the shop the day I came in were very sweet and quick to help or run to the register to ring people up.

I ordered a chocolate tres leches cake for my husband and had quite a challenging time finding one. I called three different places, and none of them could make it; they either didn't have it available or required a notice of one to two weeks. Finally, I reached out to this restaurant, and they said they could accommodate my request, but I needed to place the order in person and as soon as possible since I only had three days. The cake turned out to be perfect! It was incredibly moist and rich, making it ideal for chocolate lovers. I also appreciated the price they offered. Thank you so much!

"First off it is not the Restaurant fault I think that there is so many bums and homeless encampments in the parking lot because that really throws people off when entering. The city really needs to do something about the homeless problem that is spreading throughout Contra Costa County. The harassment that you have to endure sometimes when entering this establishment is brazen they have no shame or courtesy. The place upon entering was very clean it really felt good to finally enter a place where you are not treated any different from a white person or someone of color because there are establishments surrounding this area that due that are very close. The staff was excellent they need full credit for their diligence and courtesy towards their customers. Service was timely and in order I cant say enough about the staff. Our server was great black gentlemen with the walk outstanding service very approachable and great conversationist. We are surely going to make this a weekly outing for me and my wife outing. The food was also great we initially just wanted to try it out but we tried a little bit of everything from the calamari, friend prawns, burgers and salmon. The menu is easy to read very organized and neat. The sunset backdrop over the water front is amazing experience. Again from front to the back all the way to the kitchen I think the staff needs credit nothing but smiles not just smiles but genuine smiles it might be they just had a great day but it was very inviting and comforting."
