"My daughter has celiac disease so we needed gluten free catering for her pre wedding brunch. So many options: crustless quiche in many flavors, homemade gluten free bagels and muffins. Large fresh fruit bowl. Everything was delicious! Bridal party loved it! My husband and I went back the next day for breakfast because the food was so good. Homemade cinnamon rolls are delicious (not gluten free). They have lunch options as well. We did not have the opportunity to try any of those menu items. Owners and staff are super friendly! Definitely stop by when you are in Bryson City."

"While I would rate the food very highly, I can't quite give a full five stars for the atmosphere due to some issues with the kitchen and staff dynamics. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and does their best to manage the large number of customers. However, it was disheartening to hear them being yelled at from the kitchen, causing them to abandon their tasks abruptly. It seems the restaurant could benefit from the guidance of a professional to improve time management and employee relations. It’s not very pleasant to be seated while overhearing the staff being blamed for not keeping up with their work."

"Typical local Mexican restaurant decor with outdoor seating. Fantastic. Service was very prompt. Once they seated us, she took our drink order before she left the table. I ordered pork enchiladas and they substituted verde sauce. The pork was seared on a flat top giving it a slightly crispy texture. My favorite because it renders the fat off the pork butt. My wife had shrimp with poblano and onions $13.99). Portions were perfect. Service was excellent and my dinner was $9.99. If we were local, this would be a twice per week stop."

"When we first got there, there was a wait. We had about 20 parties in front of us. We were worried we wouldn’t get to try the breakfast. But the owner was extremely friendly and let us know ahead of time that we may not be seated in time for the breakfast menu. Thankfully some parties left and we were able to be seated quicker than we expected. The service was amazing. My husband ordered the country fried steak breakfast and let me just tell you, it was one of the best we had ever tried. I ordered the mountain man breakfast so I could try a little of everything. The portions are HUGE so really we could have shared. Everything was delicious. All of the staff were friendly, and it felt like eating at your grandparents house. We will definitely stop the next time we are in Bryson city. Also let me add. Try the gravy and the sausage. You will not be disappointed."

"Wow! The food was absolutely delicious, and we had a wonderful dining experience. We started off in the relaxing bar, enjoying perfect martinis, and then moved on to a lovely dinner. There was no sense of being rushed, and I can't speak highly enough about the food. The lamb was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, just like the prime rib. The rest of our group had fresh trout, which was excellent! The family-style side dishes featured seasonal vegetables and homemade salad dressings, along with snacks made from cherished family recipes. Desserts were included with dinner, and the hot triple berry cobbler with ice cream was so good that it completely derailed my diet. After our meal, we explored the charming, century-old inn, which felt like an adventure as we wandered down each unique hallway. We even had the opportunity to see some of the suites. The inn has a rustic, historical vibe, with many of its features remaining unchanged, which is wonderful if you're looking to step back in time."
