"The butter lettuce salad was exceptional—distinctive and ample enough for two. The gnocchi was also outstanding, paired with a sauce that I absolutely loved; I’ll definitely be ordering that again. As for the steak frites, the steak was a bit chewy, but the fries and béarnaise sauce were very good. Our selections of beer and wine were satisfying as well. I regret to say this was our first visit to LSJ. There are several items on the menu we’d like to try before they potentially close. We genuinely hope they can continue operating and thrive. I initially imagined a bustling restaurant with limited parking, which turned out to be far from the reality; otherwise, we would have dined here sooner and more frequently."

Reminded me of the old St. Jack on Clinton. Good French food and good service. Too bad they are closing.

Food was great but the time for food to come out was very slow. Dinner started at 7 and didn’t end until 10 because the food came out so slowly. We ordered a lot of food but still.

Great staff. Very limited menu. Music bad. Meal OK but not exceptional for. The price. Wines were too expensive. Local wines are as good and better values especially in this economy. Seem to have too many people working versus customers and tables. The two seater booths are not comfortable.
