"Food was ok. Overshadowed by our terrible experience. Started out when we got to the bar early and tried to order drinks. They refused to serve us bc “we were not sitting” despite the fact that we had reservations and there was ample standing room at the bar. Then the hostess didn’t have our “updated” reservation from 5 ppl to 6 ppl which had been confirmed by email from OpenTable. They blamed OpenTable saying we don’t use them. They tried to “help us” and pushed 2 small rounds together. Ok fine, then we sit down and ceiling is leaking water from the rain on 2 ppl… then 4 then all of us … including extremely hot water that was dripping from the electric heater … I said we were ok with a little drip, but the scalding water was not. They finally moved us inside … we ate and then left. No apologies or attempts to make up for the terrible conditions, from the manager or hostess not even a free drink! Literally put a damper on the night and left us with a bad taste. Hate to complain, but this was bad enough to warrant a review."

Had an amazing dinner with excellent service for our anniversary. Knowledgeable staff with great suggestions without being pushy. Excellent wines and would recommend to anyone wanting to do a date or special occasion.

TLDR- ok good but there are better experiences. Our experience at L’Amico was very mixed. The hotel bar was closed, so all guests hanging in the hotel lobby and the restaurant patrons were using the same tiny bar with only one bartender. Our waiter was rude, he said because he was “criticized” that our party brought their drinks from the bar instead of letting him take care of us. The food was great, our only saving Grace. I arrived a little late to my own reservation and they had let the rest of my party sit which is always a good sign. The server was kind, accommodated us with being able to have one person who was leaving early get a separate check and let the rest of us sit for a while after we had paid. The food was delicious, my mushroom truffle arancini was crisp and rich and the burrata with a sweet squash caponata was a perfect size, creamy and luscious. I also tried a taste of the veal mortadella meatballs as well as the brussel sprout salad, and all were dishes that I would order again!

Food was great and service was 5 star. I don't know how they found out it was my belated birthday since my friend swore she did not say anything and that wasn't a birthday dinner at all but the manager sent me a complimentary dessert after coming over to discuss dessert options and even the bus boy wished my friend (by mistake happy birthday). I thought that was a nice surprise and very thoughtful. they were attentive but never did i feel we were rushed. one thing that i thought was weird was that they sat us so close to another table for 1-2 (like inches) without any barrier, it felt like we were at the same table as them meanwhile there was plenty of space to sit the other party somewhere...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
