"The restaurant appeared to be pleasant, with a clean dining area and a menu featuring reasonably priced options. The server mentioned a special for sausage gravy, which my husband decided to try. He asked for the gravy to be served over toast and requested cheese on his scrambled eggs. Instead, he received the gravy over biscuits and cheese on his home fries. He chose not to complain and went ahead with his meal, but the biscuits were so dry that the gravy couldn't save them, and the home fries tasted awful, resembling canned potatoes that had been poorly fried. I had a steak and cheese omelet, which was decent, but definitely not worth the $12.99 price tag. Honestly, I'm unsure if we'll return for a second visit. EDIT: Although the website states the restaurant is closed on Mondays, I visited on a Monday morning and found them open."

The food was disappointing. As soon as it arrived at the table, I knew I wouldn't enjoy it. When I went to pay, the bill came to $36.

Staff is always friendly and they get you everything you need. Definitely my number one spot to eat and it's at a very good location!

Miss this place when it was open 24 hours, but I understand because of Covid it probably isn't smart money wise. Food is a little expensive but good. Love their fish friday View menu

Excellent little restaurant inside a small truck stop. Our server took good care of us and offered a high chair for our child. Adequate seating area, and appeared clean. I will return if traveling the I-68 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited this restaurant after an appointment at the salt cave, and it was fantastic! The spaghetti was delicious and definitely homemade. Our waitress was very friendly, and the service was quick. I really don't understand the negative reviews; we didn't encounter any issues at all! We loved it!

The food has really gone downhill! It used to be good, but not anymore. The staff seemed disinterested and never checked back to see if we needed anything. Prices have increased significantly while the portion sizes have decreased. The tables and floor were also quite dirty. I won't be coming back anytime soon. View menu

Little Sandy's is a solid choice for grabbing a bite to eat, especially considering it's a truck stop. While the wait staff can vary in friendliness—sometimes they're a bit aloof and other times quite pleasant—the overall experience remains consistent with what you'd expect from a truck stop. I live nearby, so I stop by occasionally when my wife and I don't feel like cooking. The food is decent and reasonably priced, making it a convenient option.

I enjoyed some fantastic home-cooked food during my visit, opting for the country fried steak, which was absolutely delicious—perhaps the best I've ever had! It was so tender that I didn’t even need a knife to cut it. The portions were generous, and I couldn't finish my meal. The staff was very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was pleasant and simple. You have the option to sit at the counter or at a table. I’m definitely planning to return the next time I’m in the area. We were just passing through and got hungry, and it turned out to be a great choice. I highly recommend giving it a try if you get the chance. We love discovering these little hidden gems. Keep up the great work...
