"My first visit to LouRonzo's for my birthday was a good experience. I thought it was strictly an Italian food establishment, but was pleasantly surprised at the varied menu selections with plenty of other options available. The wine menu had some interesting selections and we ordered a sommeliers 2019 red blend from Sonoma valley which had strong leading dark cherry accents which moderated as the wine breathed throughout the meal. I ended up enjoying it more than I initially thought I would. We started with an appetizer of meatballs which were tasty with a hearty red tomato sauce, but were disappointed the kitchen did not have the scallops which had immediately caught my eye. My wife and I shared Lou's wedge salad with creamy blue cheese and crumbles. It was the best I have had. We ordered three entre's, each was quite good. The leg of lamb, steak tips with gnocchi and vegetables, and the salmon all were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Our server was attentive at first, but he didn't tell us initially what menu items they were out of, then forgot to place orders for some of our sides. As our meal progressed, it was difficult to catch his attention when we needed refills on drinks or to check on the progress of our sides. He, however was a quite friendly fellow. Overall, I think the experience was good, and with a little more attention to service, would be excellent. That said, I will be back for more of that savoury deliciousness!"

This is the third time we were here recently. It is always a pleasant experience.

The food was fantastic! The tiramisu was the best we have ever had after two fantastic fish dishes, the branzino and flounder. Our waiter Zack was an ace! Bravo all the way around. View menu

Just a wonderful evening. Great food, large portions and excellent service. Nicely appointed wine list. Colin was our water and was very knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back.

Food and service was wonderful but the man in charge was not as kind, our waitress was speaking to me and he came over and told her that she had food up loudly, and felt that was very rude to me and to her. I would have like walking into the restaurant not into a bar area as well. But all and all very good. I would recommend and I have.

This was our first time back since before Covid and we were disappointed. The high point was the bar. Our favorite bartender was there and did a great job. We were informed there was a “special” menu because of a singer who would be performing. Special meant limited, very limited. The food was disappointing. I’m not sure we would ever return. We had an amazing meal at LouRonzo’s tonight. Every now and then you have a wonderful, memorable meal, and tonight was such a night. We chose LouRonzo’s for my birthday because we had seen the chef at a local “Chopped” competition. He came to our table and we were so impressed with him. We always want to support strong local small businesses and we want young people to be successful in their ventures. Shout out to Lisa our server, who made wonderful suggestions and made our night special. Bravo!

One of the worst dining experiences of my life and unfortunately, it was on my birthday. Where should I start… The waiter was curt and unfriendly. The stuffed oysters- if I were to be generous, were mediocre at best. The calamari was mushy and when I inquired about a dip, the waiter delivered a thick pasty red “dip” that I could not decipher what it was! The entree, linguine with white clam sauce was split between two of us. It was a gooey consistency and salty. Awful, to be precise. When the waiter revisited our table toward the end of our meal to ask if we were done, my friend hadn’t eaten her portion and started to say it was too salty and…but before she could finish her response, he swoo...

"Although we arrived later than the open table reservation ... I announced that we had one. At not point did they ask for my name to check in the reservation. I didn't push it. It took a very long time for the waiter to come to the table for a drink order. He apologized for the time it took to return with our drinks despite it not being that long. We placed an app order. Prior to the apps arriving he checked back in and asked for our entree. Sometimes I wind the server to please space out the meal but gave our server too much credit. A few minutes after the apps arrived, the entrees arrived. I told the runner that it was a bit soon but for many reasons didn't want to deal with the management and server when they came to check in. Normally, I would have complained... the entree gnocchi was vinegary and salty ... almost tasted like sauerbraten the short rib was moist but the gnocchi was overpowered by the sauce. There was NO TRACE of parsnips ... the carrots were not soft and NO potato chips present. The Brussels sprout app was also not well cooked and didn't have a blend of the flavors of chorizo. We had one of each of the 3 apps remaining and our sever wrapped DEVILED EGGS (which were very good) and the SHORT RIB LOLLIPOP in the same bin! Awful combo ... I felt as thoughtrhe server wanted to close out their shift although there were other tables still dining . The atmosphere was nice but the server was missing something Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking"

"I don’t ever write reviews and I don’t have the time to write reviews but after tonight I made the time. The Gafford was, one of our favorite restaurants in town. After tonight, that isn’t the case . Per usual and expected the bar is busy at 5 PM on a Wednesday during season. We were lucky enough to get a two top with a great waitress in the bar area. We had fabulous service and then requested a customized salad based on dietary restrictions only to see if it were possible… this is where things went down hill. The waitress explained that the kitchen was busy, and that the chef could only add a few condiments to their standard salads that were offered on their menu. We told her that we totally understood and we were grateful for whatever the chef could accommodate. 10 minutes later, the chef brought out our salads, which I thought was so complementary, considering how particular we were until he looked at us and said he would appreciate it if we wouldn’t talk “sh*t” to his servers. There was a big miscommunication with the service and chef/owner and it made us feel uncomfortable. I think it’s very poor judgment to go out and consult long term clients that not only eat at your restaurant on a regular basis but refer their clients to your restaurant on a regular basis. What is sad, is that this little review probably means nothing because “The Gafford” is already such a well-established restaurant. Unfortunately, with more experiences like mine, it won’t be the one gem in the town that everyone goes to. Stuart is growing so much and restaurants are popping up left and right. There will be many more to come and only the best will survive."
