"We tried the restaurant on Christmas day and had family dinner with Seafood Curry and Knoll Chicken Breast. Seafood Curry had 2 shrimps 2 scallops and 5 mussels in a cream sauce with 4 small cocktail tomatoes. It was a bit embarrassing that we announced that tomatoes were off our wish list but they still served it despite of the fact that our waiter mentioned it before we ordered. Should not have happened in a restaurant with this caliber. Chicken was solid and fine. We had a very nice spanish red wine with it and some french bread. Dessert was sorbet trilogy- not really a fine sorbet as you would know it from France, but okay. Overall sevice was better than in the Mount Washington Main Dining but prices still too high for the menu selection and service quality."

"For some reason, for such an amazing luxury resort, the food (and food service) were unfortunately disappointing. When prices are high, expectations are high, and that?s why we need to share a few thoughts. We researched all the Google reviews for the restaurants on site, and sadly none of them have outstanding reviews, but we decided to go in with an open mind. We decided to go with Stickney?s for dinner, but I had the hardest time making a reservation. The website emphasizes making reservations, and so I had left a voicemail 1 of the 3 times I tried calling to leave a reservation, and they never got back to me. So we went the day of, and they told us we couldn?t eat at 6:30 since they were booked so we took 6pm. They ended up never having a full house, maybe 50% capacity when we finished dinner at 7:15. We had also asked to outside and the hostess said ?no.??which is fine but we didn?t understand as the tables and chairs were already out there , yet no guests were allowed to sit outside (but they were allowed to sit outside for Rosewood). Okay. So we ordered burgers which were fine and safe to go with, just nothing outstanding whatsoever for a $23 burger. We didn?t feel the flavor was worth the cost, therefore for dining we?d feel 3/5 stars We?d come back again, but only if able to book reservations with more ease and with amenities promised to be open. "Rosebrook Bar & Restaurant is the top dining spot at Omni, surpassing the other options available. I only wish we could have had our entire dinner here! The reason? You can settle in on the porch to savor some delightful vacation-inspired drinks and light bites while taking in the stunning views of the mountains and the beautiful resort grounds. "Perched near the summit of Mount Rosebrook, within New Hampshire's White Mountains, Rosebrook Lodge is truly a hidden gem. There is only one way to get to the Lodge and that is by taking the Bretton Woods Skyway Gondola. Northeast foliage in early October is stunning to say the least and the views during the 12 minute Gondola ride, from base lodge to summit, had me considering the purchase of a season pass. (I may have impulse control issues). The panoramic advantage at 3000 feet was breathtaking, a beautiful location for a memorable experience. Rosebrook Lodge has an upscale and charming atmosphere with architectural details that are impressive. Within the Lodge is the Switchback Grille, serving everything from lattes and martinis to salads and burgers. There is enough variety at this small restaurant to satisfy most visitors and if not, maybe double up on the drinks, which were to perfection and delivered by a cheerful, attentive staff. I decided to keep my lunch simple and ordered the grilled cheese with tomato bisque soup, quintessential comfort food. The surprise here was that my meal was anything but simple. It was absolutely delicious. I left Rosebrook Lodge feeling satisfied, not just from a culinary perspective, but from a naturalists perspective as well. This is worth the visit."

"Disappointing experience. We took the cog rail to Mt Washington with our 3yr old, and after a long day we stopped here for a late lunch. At first everything went well, pretty standard menu, prices on the higher side $18 burger fries) but on par with most places nowadays. We ordered and got our food. I ordered the meatloaf, hubby had the burger. Didn 't realize the meatloaf came served on a piece of Texas toast+ a biscuit on the side... I ordered cornbread as one side choice, so I was a little overwhelmed by all the bread on my plate. No matter though, I just ate what I wanted. Food wasn 't bad. The problem came when our server never returned to our table after delivering the meal. We ate and sat for a short time waiting. No check back, nothing. Hubby ended up taking kiddo outside while I waited... And waited. Other servers walked by us several times, but ours was MIA. I asked another server for a box, to box up our leftovers. And waited for the check. Still nothing. I looked to see how much cash I had, so I could just leave it and go, cause at this point I was getting annoyed, and initially planned to do just that, but ended up asking the staff gathered at the hostess station for a manager. I get very anxious in situations such as these, and don 't enjoy having to complain. But since I still hadn 't received the check, I explained what happened. Didn 't get much more than an I 'm sorry , and of course our missing server shows up at this point to cash me out. Overall, the experience would have been just a regular lunch if not for the inattentive staff, but unfortunately this experience put a damper on the day."
