This was the last night they were open in their old location. Nothing special. We’ll wait to see how the new location works out

House made short rib Ravioli in a Marsella sauce...yes, please! Awesome traditional Italian food in a cozy space with great service. Great desserts, too!

Absolutely delicious food and wine. We started with an antipasto, then my husband had a few apps for dinner (crab cakes in the top 10 of all meals he has had and sausage and peppers). I had the mushroom ravioli which was also delicious. Kit provided excellent service as well. View menu

Visited Portland from Virginia. We were a party of 4 and the portions are Extremely generous. We all enjoyed our meals. The phenomenal chef, outstanding cuisine, and wonderful waitress made it a 5 star experience. I had the shrimp Porto fino and it was delicious! Awesome restaurant!

Quality and authentic Italian! We started with a beautiful burrata caprese salad. My husband had the Ziti, Eggplant Chicken Parm Platter and I had the Lobster Alfredo Lasagna. We left with two bottles of their homemade sauce as well as pasta to try to create an equally memorable meal at home until we can get back for another truly authentic meal.

Wow! We hadn't been to Maria's until last night. We were still missing Espo's and hadn't been able to bring ourselves to returning to a different owner. We were overwhelmed with the taste, portions, and excellent service. Nice little demi-salad with bread and roasted garlic olive oil. The main courses were delightful, and the portions were huge. We just enjoyed the leftovers for lunch. Cannot say enough positive things. We will be back, and soon! View menu

We had a wonderful experience. Our server, Kit, was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The Peroni with limoncello was tasty and refreshing. My favorite was the ciabatta burrata, bursting with flavor. My husband enjoyed a jumbo shrimp dish, and I enjoyed a chicken marsala, made by special request. These healthy-portioned entrees were served in skillets. Salads were crispy and fresh, and the bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfetto! We couldn't stop there, so we shared a cannolo for dessert. We highly recommend Maria's and plan on returning.

Took my daughter here for her Pre Prom Dinner. I was both her Date and a Chaperone. I am sorry I forgot the name of The Waitress,but she was amazing. She was very complimentary towards my daughter. The Food was amazing. We started with The Fried Mozzarella in Marinara. I've never had Mozzarella this tasty or Fresh. Our Side Salads were just the right size. My daughter had Linguine with Meatballs and I had Chicken Parmigiano. Not only were the portions big,but they came nice and hot. Neither of us could finish and took it with us. I do want to mention that I did not appreciate the ignorant looks the two parties were giving my daughter. They kept staring at my daughter like she was some lady o...

I wish I could add stars for individual aspects and menu items. We 've driven by for at least 5 years driving to and from the Portland airport (PWM). Recently, timing was right for dinner. There were cars in the front lot but plenty of room without a reservation. Very Old School Italian environment. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan; recommended by our waitress. My husband ordered the Lobster, Mixed Seafood Pasta. It was WONDERFUL, especially at $30 because the price of lobster has soared recently. My serving of Eggplant Parm on the other hand was SPOILED, sour, moldy tasting, unpleasant. The waitress and I had a bit of an 'explanation ' back and forth.
