good seafood is hard to come by, i usually don't trust it unless it's home made or from a truck in east los. that being said the food wasn't bad, just needed some more seasoning. the aguachile def needed work and too much pepino, nice ambience tho and so so service

I got here here at 8:45pm excited to try this place out because of all the amazing reviews. We enter and immediately are told the kitchen closed at 8:30 and is only available for take out. I was SO disappointed. They should at least make this announcement visible on their website so guests don’t have to waste their time finding parking in their limited lot.

I 'm always trying new marisco places everywhere. And this was definitely a good choice. 'Twas my first time here and I loved it. Service was great. I wish I could remember our waitress 's name. But they were all very attentive and always professional. Will definitely be coming back! I had the aguachiles(the spicy ones) bomb.com! And the shrimp empanadas. Delicious fish taco was pretty good. We always forget about this restaurant. However the food is always consistent in flavor. We love it, wish we came more often. The michelada is the best in town and the Paloma was great as well, nice and strong but not over powering. Pescado ceviche tostada is always so fresh and prepared oysters are delicious. I would probably ask for them without cocktail sauce next time. Service is pretty good. I wouldn't say amazing but it's good. Polite. Ambiance is OK. Nothing special. Makes sense for when they have bands and live music there, some things can be a bit updated however. But we come for the food and drinks so we don't care what it looks like.

I've been driving by this sinaloan sea food restaurant (with full bar) for years now. After spending 200 dollars for two people at Loreto, which is a sinaloan/Baja style restaurant for bougie types about two miles away, I thought I might give this more working class spot a try. When boo said she wanted a shrimp burrito, which she asks for about once a year, I knew where to go.First off, this is a full restaurant, with a full bar. When we informed the waitress that the dish was terrible, she acknowledged that we hadn't touched it but insisted, with a poor attitude, that we still needed to pay for it. To make matters worse, she yanked a piece of fish apart to demonstrate that there was indeed fish in it. That was one of the most unprofessional actions I've ever witnessed from a waitress. We didn't care about the payment; she didn't even attempt to offer a replacement or ask how she could make it right. So rude! To add insult to injury, when I asked for her name, she gave me a fake one. She first claimed her name was Bricelda, then came back to say, "No, that's not my name; it's Karina."
